You didn't complain enough dodo :D
  • I think it's reasonable that people are going to comment, when they have been let down with the delivery dates, with no notification (I too was counting on getting these delivered last week, as that is what was promised when I ordered).

I had promised a hamper to my son's school for the raffle and it was embarrassing not to be able to do this (and leaves me with an extra hamper, that I'll probably donate to the food bank).

Also, commenting on disappointment felt when substitutions have not matched the price of the original goods ordered is fair enough.

I think a lot of bad feeling could have been prevented, had the company sent out an email last week, highlighting the difficulties they were facing meeting the delivery deadlines. Communication is key to customer satisfaction.

Constructive criticism should be heeded and lessons learnt.

However, I agree wholeheartedly that there have been posts on this thread that just seem downright malicious, and have set out to scaremonger and some people have cancelled their orders on the back of this - if I were the owner of this company, I would be pretty upset too. The thing here though, is to try not to alienate genuine customers, by reacting publicly to the few who have been s### stirring (excuse French,).

Having seen the photos on here, I'm now looking forward to receiving the rest of my hampers - so this thread has put my mind at rest.
  • I've received the email although i was told my hampers would be here today, just have to wait in and see what happens. Fingers crossed they arrive soon.
    I love this place :j:T:j

    .

I agree. I was promised hampers in November, and arranged to travel 250 miles to visit DH's family in early December. The hampers dod not arrive, my (very polite) emails went unanswered, and i had a frantic couple of days buying and making things to replace the missing hampers. I was poorly at the time and could really have done without it.

I was reading that people who had ordered later deals were starting to receive theirs, which seemed wrong to me.

The hampers arrived the day after we returned, so I now have 6 hampers here with no recipients. Marvellous.

I didn't appreciate the bulk e-mail. I don't really care how 'nice' Neil is - his company let me down. Lessons really need to be learned. I shan't be using them again.

Just received another of my deals, 2 x Christmas basket, 2 x Galaxy Hampers & 2 x Just add Cheese.

    Very pleased with the contents!

I think they must have heeded the complaints of torn cellophane on the just add cheese, mine came in boxes and are perfect :)
  • Email from company if anyone hasn't seen it.

  • I'm new to this, but am also waiting on the Xmas hamper deal.
Can anyone who has received there's let me know which courier delivered and what the customer reference number is that they used? Just want to be able to check status for myself without having to bother Neil...
    Thanks
