I take your comments on board ,but let me assure you i will not bask in being right as you say. People work very hard for their money and i hope that EVERYONE GETS THE HAMPERS THEY EXPECTED IF NOT THEN FULL REFUNDS ARE GIVEN IF REQUESTED.
If you really don't like this company, why do you bother to post on this thread?0 -

Forget the hampers, I'm in love with some of your furniture

If you look at post 724 I've listed the differences in weight/size between what was advertised and received:
Christmas Pudding 454g 350g
Ginger Biscuits none
Lemon Curd 320g 113g
Shortbread Fingers 150g 2x80G
Christmas Fruit Cake a 'bar' 5.25 inches x 2.25 inches
Strawberry Preserve 340g 113g
They seem to be overestimating the value of things quite a bit. too. Using this hamper valued at £24.99 as an example the contents could actually be picked up elsewhere for £5.50-£6.50 which would leave an awful lot of money to buy a a basket to put things in & add extras to make it a bit more interesting if you made your own hamper.
Christmas pudding = £1 http://www.rosspa.co.uk/festive-fayr...0g-p-2797.html
2x80g Shortbread fingers = £0.50 http://www.rosspa.co.uk/highland-spe...80g-p-907.html
Iced/christmas fruit cake bar = plenty of places selling similar for £1 each
Lemon curd/strawberry preserve = premium quality jars larger than the ones supplied would cost £1.50-£2 each0 -

Although I agree they are overestimating the value of items I like most of the others haven't actually paid anywhere £24.99 for the hamper and considering I haven't had to go and look for the items or pack them and I'm having it delivered I don't think I'm getting a bad deal.
Obviously this is just my opinion but if I get anything like the ones that are posted in the pictures I will be happy for the price I've paid and I will definitely be ordering again0 -
All of my hampers so far have been amazing. Excellent quality. Last year I was not amused by my John Lewis hamper. Such a rip off.Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0

I have nothing to do with the company infant if you read back I was complaining about there slow response time (also I live in a completely different country to them) I just think its unfair to bad mouth a company when actually you have no reason too.
I think all the hampers are lovely, I wrote a huge reply last night saying that and just as I was going to post it my battery died, I was too cosy in bed to get a charger so I just went to sleep :rotfl:
also i bought hampers from m&S last year in a glitch i paid nearly twice what i will for these ones and they came ina carboard box, the had originally been £30 but even in m&s the contents would have came to £10-£12 max, in general hampers are over priced and the items inside are of hgh quality (like m&s) after all if we bought hampers and only paid the cost price of everything, hamper companys would ge out of business.DEC GC £463.67/£450
EF- £110/COLOR]/£10000 -

They've written this on twitter: Please note we are in talks with MSE & action is being taken against the people who think its fun and games to have a pop at us.
Doesn't sound good, I wonder if this thread might get deleted? If so it's been nice chatting with you all and I hope you all get your hampers today52% tight0
