They've written this on twitter: Please note we are in talks with MSE & action is being taken against the people who think its fun and games to have a pop at us.
Doesn't sound good, I wonder if this thread might get deleted? If so it's been nice chatting with you all and I hope you all get your hampers today
Oh i hope not, altho if it does get pulled i see no reason why we can't start another one about some of there other deals and natter on it.
It's good that mse relise there is no need for such negative comments and are working with them to resolve it, i'd say neil pretty much hates mse since i seen a post saying someone phoned the police on him aswell vecause they thought it was a scam.
I won't get mine today and i'm ok with thataslong as there here by next fri.

Companies need to realise that social networking works both ways, they are happy to use it to get products sold, and i don't expect they would have sold nearly as much if it wasn't for mse. They also have to accept that people talk when things don't go quite so well! I do agree that a certain person who hasn't even bought anything from them has written some very strong statements. I didn't buy anything this time, I bought the waitrose hampers on the deal, and even though I am delighted with them, they are worth nowhere near the original selling price. I hope everyone gets what they are expecting and the company learns some lessons from this experience to help them in the future.0 -
Also got lovely email from them explaining about deliveries
Thank you for taking time to read this newsletter,as you may be aware we are having some issues with our Christmas deliveries.
We are working very hard to get all orders out to you intime for Christmas after such a high demand, but you will all receive your hampers in time for Christmas.
We have had some issues with negative comments on social websites and working along side these companies to put these right.
We thought we had to send this newsletter to keep you all informed and thank you all for your patience & the kind comments & support we have received from you.
We will keep you all informed on your deliveries the best we can & supply you with delivery dates where we can.
Thank you from the team

I think negitive comments are acually good, aslong as it shows the problem being resolved ofcourse, if your googled a company and only seen positive reviews (and mostly all on mse aswell) i'd be abit wary as then it really would seem to good to be true, where as if you see an issue someone has had and that the company has worked hard to resolve it this shows good customer service. However lots of negitive comments for no reason that are unjustified aren't as good.DEC GC £463.67/£450

I assume it's the 'get a refund while you still can!' type of comments he means, rather than 'my order should have been here days ago' comments.52% tight0

i think its aimed at at least one poster who we all have seen - it wont be at those of us discussing when we may get our hampers by saying oh i hope its by xyz date
SO if you or any of your team are reading this Neil we appreciate the Updates ty0 -

You are probably right, I like you wondered why someone was making such strong comments about them even before they had started delivering, I was thinking perhaps an ex-wife!!!0 -

I hope so as most of us are only stating facts and looking for reassurance from each other- I have sent several emails to the company directly and had replies (the tone might not be quite as I would have liked but I suppose understandable given they are working 24-7....) I would be quite angry if the entire thread was taken down....
But I am quite excited about today! It feels as if I am overdue waiting for a baby to arrive.... so excited but also fed up of waiting!:rotfl:0 -

Ha Ha- yes she obviously has it in for them for some reason! I think post 701 is enough to push them into doing something about it!
I contacted them the other day to say that I’m in no rush for my hampers as I can pop in to collect them before Christmas, & so they could concentrate on those that need to be sent out.
They are not a Not a fly by night company but I agree that they have been overwhelmed with the amount of orders & underestimated delivery & stock, but hopefully will learn from it now.
They are planning to open two new shops in Holt & Southwold in the near future – both very upmarket towns in this region, & I’m sure that they will do very nicely there with the sort of money spent in these places thank you very much – so I feel certain that no way are they are going to take our money & run!Too much of a good thing can be wonderful!0
