  • Is anyone going to make a claim under the online selling rules then?

Can I guarantee that my purchases will arrive in time for Christmas?
Online retailers have up to 30 days to deliver goods, unless specifically agreed otherwise. So it may be the case that you have already left it too late.

If delivery before Christmas is part of the contract, and specified in a confirmation e-mail, then you may have a claim in a small-claims court for breach of contract if it fails to arrive before 25 December.

Otherwise, any goods that arrive late can be returned within seven days if they are no longer wanted under normal distance selling regulations

Or at least get a refund for the ones no longer needed?

By reading this it states that as long as it arrives before the 25th then they havent broken the contract so dont think you would have a claim if they do get them all delivered before the 14th, but i may have read it wrong though.

  • They have just posted on their Twitter page the following "Just an update all the Christmas Goodies deals will be out by the end of tomorrow.hope you all enjoy".

So all those (inc me!!) who went for the festive goodies ie the 3+3, should hopefully get them thursday (assuming next day delivery!!).

Fingers x'd all, I have been waiting patiently like most, and hope that I get the delivery by this Friday.
Annoying, I can understand for us all as we were hoping they would be here by last week, but he did comment on twitter the other night that he was packing up 400+ Galaxy Hampers.
That's obviously a lot more than what they expected, so overwhelmed I think by the response once the deals were posted on here.

The lack of sweets is quite disturbing in some of the hampers, so hope all of you that received them get a good outcome.

Fingers xd for this weeks deliveries everyone !!

And no, I do not know the company, took the offer in good faith, and Im not even a member of Twitter, so thought I would just post what I have read from a google of their Twitter page :) HTH.
  • Glad to read that my Christmas goodies hamper will be sent tomorrow,

I wonder if they will also be sending out the christmas treats deal which i believe was 2 honey, 2 retro sweets and 2 xmas basket.

I wish i had a twitter account to ask.:( if someone has one would they mind asking for me?

As long as they keep it for a week that will be ok :)

I nipped into Mr Simms today because I had a sudden hankering for Reece's cups, as you do. I might suggest a Reece's hamper to NHCo, that would be amazing :D

    what a great idea :D

I've just asked them about it on Twitter :)

(well, I thought I'd asked earlier but my husband pointed out that I'd forgotten to include them in the message so it only got sent to myself - embarassing!)

That is good that you have received the hampers requested but you have paid more than £100 for them as you dont have any guarantee that the future hampers will be as good or even turn up [ sorry to be blunt] and then it could be too late for a refund. My advise would be to request a refund for the outstanding ones . As already said this is just my opinion so dont shot me down, of course it is up to everyone to make their own minds up.

Well aware that this deal has 'too good to be true' all over it

I'm a cautious person and take few risks and gambles but for now, they have the benefit of my doubt

I'll worry again in January (maybe ;))
  • Yesterday my husband received our 12 hampers, hand delivered by Neil. I had 6 x retro sweet hampers, 1 x 1940's, 2 x galaxy, 1 x thorntons, 1 x everyday and 1 x Hershey's. We are both more than happy with all of these and will be giving them all for Christmas to friends and family.

I am going to their shop this afternoon to personally thank him, I do think that he has taken on a lot of work over this festive period and I hope that he manages to please you all as he has us.
