You say in one post you are going to cancel your paypal claim and now you say the money has gone? some of the things you say just dont add up.If you are going to wait for your hampers to arrive then that is up to you.But please dont try to promote this company anymore. If your look at some of your previous posts you do have to ask about your motives.

prob means that the money has already been spent so would prefer the hampers to the money back
    i feel the same

Still waiting for a response to my complaint about the underweight hampers 3x3 I rec'd. Order was 6th October.
Too late for a Paypal complaint (not as described) - although I did log it as advised.
    Another e-mail sent.

BTW I was expecting hampers on the advertised date, had to replace gifts as mine arrived on 13th - too late to post on and underfilled anyway. I'd buy the 'just add cheese' again - but from the suppliers via Amazon! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blueberry-Just-Add-Cheese-Hamper/dp/B009OEO31A

    I ordered the 3+3 for £59.99.

I too am past the window for PayPal refund but logged dispute with them anyway which was closed straight away... I've sent several emails and still no response...

There seems to be no logical method to refunding, replying to emails or sending out hampers....

Living in hope of a refund today!!! :)

Yes everyone is allowed their own opinion, of course there is worse things in this world then late or non delivery of hampers, but spare a thought to the housebound women who ordered them for gifts and was unable due to the money and mobility factor to replace them. Yes maybe one or two comment have been a little under the belt, however NHC have also behaved in a disgusting manner. If people on MSE want to support NHC fair enough but I do think it is wrong to rub others faces in it, I believe the NHC supporters have caused some MSEs to react, thus not helping the cause. I personally do not care if you are connected to the NHC, if I was I would be keeping a low profile that's for sure.

if said person had explained the situation to th recipiants im sure they would have understood as lots of things go astray at xmas
then maybe a nice email to neil could have sorted it
just with all the crap hes been dealing with i can understand him not sorting it out untill he had got as many out as he could

Really? I sent a few nice emails to neil which got me absolutely nothing in return. All I asked for, very politely, was honesty. I wanted to know if I needed to go out and replace the gifts or was my order going to get to me before christmas.

This is what most people took issue with, being ignored despite being nice.

    Bake Off Boss!
I have just checked my emails and I have had 2 from Paypal.

I have got my money back! It will be in my account in 5 days time.

One refund is for £102.99 inc p&p for the Christmas Collection which was a 3+3 deal.
The second one is for £94.99 inc p&p for a 12 month deal.

Thank you for all the help I have received from people on here as I would not have thought about contacting Paypal if I had not read about it on here and I was lucky to be able to claim within the 45 day deadline as I ordered on the 17th November.

If you have been able to put in a claim with Paypal it looks likely that you will be able to get your money back like I have but I really feel for those who were outside the window to claim.
Refunds look like they may be coming from Neil in the form of cheques. I hope they do & that they don't bounce as this is what I would worry about.

I hope that Neil has learnt his lesson but I doubt it. People like him seem to think they are invincible & do do not have the mortal failings the rest of us have.

Good luck everybody. I'll keep reading the thread as I want to know what the final outcome for this business is.
I think that this thread has proved that on MSE we are a community that helps each over & we are not to be messed with.

I suggest you send him a letter by recorded delivery giving him 7 days to refund you or you'll take him to the small claims court. I wouldn't send him any more emails to be honest.

    What crap is that, exactly?

I've said it before, but it's worth repeating. There are some people who think that the Norfolk Hamper Company's problems over Christmas were caused by the customers who had the audacity to place orders for Christmas hampers and then kicked up a fuss when they weren't delivered in time for Christmas. ;)

I also think those people who are continually defending a company who can't even get the basics right are under the impression that once all of the annoying Christmas customers have bogged off, then it will all settle down and their hamper "deals" will all be OK again.

    Poor deluded fools.
