I have requested my refund for the second time, fingers crossed it arrives soon, goodness knows we could do with the money.

Am very relieved to see others receiving refunds, he is doing the right thing (at last and after a good push, but still) I am saddened to see there are no little personal apologies, however I suppose if it means he gets through the refunds quicker...

I hope that paypal are able to help you as well but in my case the company did not do the right thing but by doing absolutely nothing paypal had to intervene.

People who open up multiple accounts never seem to realise just how difficult it is to invent completely new persona and posting styles.

Good idea denmjd, it would be nice for everyone to post their orders etc.

I ordered the 12 Month Hamper deal , add 2nd deal on 24/11/12
Joined the Hamper club to receive 20% discount
    £110.00
    - 22.00 (20% discount)
    Add Del 4..99
    Paid £92.99 + £10.00 for Hamper Club = 102.99
I asked for 2 x Xmas Hampers in Dec and received the 2 x Just Cheese ones.the day after Boxing Day.
I have not made a claim as I am happy with the ones received and I am willing to take the risk and give them the chance to deliver the others these coming months.

OK, I ordered the 12 Month Hamper deal , plus 2nd deal on 24/11/12
    £110.00 plus Del 4..99
    Paid £114.99 through PayPal

I asked for 2 x Xmas Hampers in Dec plus one Chilli and one Just Add Cheese as extra pressies instead of January hampers
I received 2 x Just Cheese trays with damaged cellophane, plus small Christmas tray and Galaxy hamper with reduced contents
Dispatched 24th attempted delivery 27th, delivered and signed for by neighbour on 28th. I had informed NHC that I would be away from the 22nd so delivery must be by 21st
I have raised a PayPal dispute today which was escalated to claim immediately - item received late, damaged and not what ordered

Have been given date of 11th January for decision by PayPal

I just can't trust that the remainder of order will be fulfilled :(

Joined Hamper Club £10. 12 x 2 offer ordered 24/11/12. Total paid £102.99. It was agreed I could have 12 of the hampers early as Xmas presents.

Received 1 Galaxy (very nicely filled) and 1 Retro sweets (short on contents, but a lot better than some posters received) just before Xmas. Both in proper hampers with leather buckles.

Have since received 1 Christmas (OK contents, but not required or ordered) and 1 Just Add Cheese (lovely) in very nice baskets, cello-wrapped. Note stated these were my first (Dec) hampers!

I am not seeking a refund and will try to put in an order for my 2 Jan hampers.

So you didn't receive what you ordered, you just didn't mind that you didn't - and hope you receive the rest - but still put in a paypal claim. The fact that some people didn't get what they ordered at all or when they ordered them clearly did matter to some people. Also it seems to me that the continued lying and the lack of apology and trying to blame his customers really got up some folks' noses.
You're clearly a very forgiving person, but I'm sure you must be able to see why some people are suspicious, though more so of new joiners who defend the company I dare say.

I put a paypal claim in whilst I thought about what I wanted to do - didn't want to be out of the claiming time.

I feel extremely sorry for the people that didn't get their hampers in time, are housebound, didn't have enough money to replace, etc. My OH is disabled and so I more than understand. In the past we've lived day to day money wise, we're just a little more fortunate now.

I can see entirely why people are suspicious of me saying I am going to continue in the hope that I get the rest of my hampers. Maybe I am naive, but I still use M+S/BHS although they have delivered late, cancelled random orders, etc.

Anyway, (unless I get totally slated again!), I am bowing out of the discussion until I can post what I get at the end of the month (hopefully).

Wishing everyone all the best and a happy and prosperous 2013. People that want refunds, I hope you get them and people that want hampers, I hope you get them!

Still waiting for refund of my order £59.99 for 3 hampers and get 3 free.

Out of PayPal refund window but I informed them anyway. I have sent several informal refund requests but escalated this to a lba on Friday. Fingers crossed for a cheque in the post very soon.

Like many others the issue really hasn't been the non delivery of the hampers however frustrating and disappointing that was... The real issue has been the repeated lies both to me personally and the falsehoods told to us as a group on twitter etc, the lack of a sincere apology (I still feel that the Nhc blames us!) and the nasty comments posted by Neil himself... To be honest I don't think comments made on here were anything like as bad as Neil would have everyone believe but that still doesn't give him licence to behave like he did... In my job I am the professional and despite everything I have to behave with decorum and in a polite manner however hard that might be!
  • I ordered the 6 month deal + 2nd deal + postage = £82.98

I have so far had 2x Picnic Hampers, 2x Thorntons Hampers, 2x Retro sweets hampers, 2x Juice/Jam Hampers & 2x Christmas Hampers.

I am still waiting for 2x Preserve Hampers & 2 'free' hampers which would be my January delivery.

I still think these will arrive ok so have held off making any claim with Paypal/bank

It is comments such as this that have many of us believing that you are in some way comected to NHC... how would this work with any other deal... ASDA offer 5kg bag of carrots for £2.00 you get home to find the bag only weighs 2KG how pleased would you be then. You suggestion that we should be happy with what we have is absurd... anything less than was advertised or personally agreed with the company is not ok.
