I dont think it matters what new company logo this tyrant comes up with, he didnt count on the MSErs, who can easily keep tabs on him and his future activities.

He's a dead duck in water and he doesn't even know it yet. ;)

No hampers, outside of 45 days to get a resolution on PayPal, no reply to any of my emails and no refund.

Even after reading this and the many other similar stories, people will still make excuses for him, and say "give him a chance", it really is the most bizarre thing i have read in a while!

Completely had enough of this now :( In the same boat as many on here - hampers due before Christmas and despite many assurances that they would be here on time - nothing. Calim raised with Paypal and email sent to Neil on 22nd December cancelling my order and asking for a full refund of £115 - giving him 5 working days to respond. Luckily I was within the 45 days for a Paypal claim so have also gone down that route and my case is due to be reviewed by Paypal tomorrow. I have gone away to visit family over Christmas and I have been informed that I have a card from UK Mail at home. I rang UK Mail Norwich Office this morning to check whether the attempted delivery was from Neil and they have confirmed that it is and that my neighbour signed for it yesterday morning. I fully intended to refuse delivery as Christmas hampers are of absolutely no use to me now and I have no desire to continue with a 12 month hamper contract :( I have no idea what has been delivered as I will not be home until Sunday. I have emailed Neil again and confirmed that I wish to cancel my order as per my email on 22nd December and that the hampers will remain unopened for him to collect at his own expense. I am now stressed and worried as the basis for my paypal claim is non delivery of goods. As I said, my paypal claim is due for review tomorrow. I dont want to change or cancel my claim with Paypal as I have not even seen what has been delivered, however I am concerned that my Paypal claim is now not 100% correct and I dont want any problems further down the line due to this (although strictly speaking I have still not received anything personally as I am not there...)

    Any suggestions/help/advice very welcome.....

    Thanks xx

same here my claim is also due to be reviewed tomorrow and whilst out someone else signed for a UKMail delivery - as far as I am concerned that is irrelevant as I cancelled the order, what was delivered was wrong as well as being weeks late. Just hang on until PayPal intervene as I am doing as then finally we might get somewhere.

    Couldn't agree more!
  • I've not had any delivery. I was going to refuse anyway but looks like I won't have too now! No reply to emails and I did cancel my order on Xmas eve.

My CC have said my money will be refunded in 7 days when I called them on 27th December so looks like my refunds due around 3rd January also. I'll let everyone know :)

I just feel that trading standards, etc should be doing more as OK people who come on here will see there is a problem but even then MANY are willing to give this company a second chance by the sounds of things. But what about all the other customers who will never come on here and may have ordered between December and now or will go on to order in the New Year and then be let down again?

My order for 24 hampers was taken at the end of November even after I checked in here etc to confirm this was a legitimate deal and company but sadly I now know that my order was probably taken not because they wanted a new customer and a chance to have a continuing customer for many years but because they needed money to buy in more stock to make up orders for customers placed many months prior to me (well that should have been what happened if organised but instead monies seem to have been spent on sending out incorrect late orders to more recent orders rather than fulfill the August orders first for example).

Also even if I now got a full refund and many like me suddenly did so say if that was 10 of us at £114.99 for 24 hampers. That would mean they would be refunding £1149 so minus PayPal commissions they will have had £1000 since November. Which at wholesale prices will have paid for a LOT of stock so my monies will have just been used to solve a cash flow problem rather than going to a bank or reinvesting into their own business.

All very, very disappointing and upsetting and to think this is the best case scenario as that is IF I and others even get a refund from PayPal.
  • Following my emails to sales@norfolkHampers.co.uk (I think, not sure of the ending).., and reading on here of another person who sent Neil their bank details and getting a refund, I did the same and I have received a full refund into my account today.

Goodness knows, I was in dire straits financially.., so its come in just when it was needed.

I hope others on here try the same thing but allow for the New Year Bank holidays. I did post on here saying what I was doing yesterday and the day before. I hope others have tried the same thing.

Like others, not getting the hampers created problems, but nothing can be done about that now. Can't rewrite the past. Getting a refund was the best possible outcome. I didn't compliment him, I was straight talking (remembering some comments on here) and he does seem to be doing what he can NOW.

I'd try what I've done before Court Action LBA etc. Its a lot easier on the brain lol.

Hmmm. They'd accept orders they can't fulfil, promise delivery times they can't possibly stick to, they'd fail to dispatch when agreed, they'd refuse to respond to - or even acknowledge! - customer's complaints and concerns, and ultimately, they'd make both the run-up to Christmas, as well as Christmas itself, a horribly stressful time for huge numbers of their customers.... but don't worry folks, they wouldn't send items that were a month out of date. :T

I had items delivered in September which were out of date. This was after he said on Twitter that everything was at least a year in date. So I hope everyone checked the best before dates before giving any as gifts.
