If Neil(l) spent more time and energy on sending out orders and refunds he wouldn't have time to get 'upset and ill' by things said on here and Twitter.
He got greedy - pure and simple.
He could have so easily taken down the website when orders were comming in too quickly for him to cope with but instead he kept taking orders that he knew he would never get to people in time for Christmas. As for sending orders out on 24th December - that was just stupid, he must have realised that some would be refused at point of delivery and that some (most?) people would want refunds and that he would have to pay to get the unwanted goods back to him.
I just hope his greed doesn't mean the business will fold and take his customers money with it.Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -
I haven't been on here since Christmas eve as I guess I was one of the 'lucky' ones who received their hampers that day. I luckily had some gifts to hand out to my family, albeit 4 of them were much less what I had ordered but was greatful that the whole saga was over for me.
I cannot believe that people who received their goods are telling others to still be patient.
It is months since they ordered and paid, there were '60' orders outstanding days before Christmas why have they still not been refunded? In time this will all resolve itself but I will never order again and I am sure the majority of people on here won't.
Neil can portray himself as the victim all he wants, customers will move on from this, but I sincerely doubt his company will and a few upsetting comments will be the least of his worries.
I really hope for his customers that they get the respect and the refund they deserve.LBM Aug 10  [STRIKE]15,995.86 [/STRIKE]:eek:12,750.49

but it was a vile comment and none of accusations are proven.
Therefore its blatant defamation of character. Which I'm sure his lawyer will look at and say he has a pretty good case.
"Any intentional false communication, either written or spoken, that harms a person's reputation; decreases the respect, regard, or confidence in which a person is held; or induces disparaging, hostile, or disagreeable opinions or feelings against a person"
A defamation (libel in this instance) case is very, very expensive indeed. I'm sure beyond his means. It's a High Court matter for a start - not cheap.
However, I don't think he's a conman. Just someone who's not very business savvy, who has messed up in a big way.0 -
not had a response to my latest email or previous ones or a refund so can't wait till the 30th when PayPal will then hopefully do something. I think mine PayPal claim might be one of the earliest dates but if not and PayPal are now helping others how is it going?0

Would you report back on your Paypal claim please? Mine isn't due to be assessed until 3 Jan, and it would be good to hear how others go.0 -
