    I've been Money Tipped!
    So no paypal refunds which should be almost instant??

    Don't waste any more time, send a LBA (letter before action) today giving 14 days max to receive a full refund of all monies or you will commence a small claims action for full recovery plus all allowed costs. You only need proof of postage (free, but can pay for recorded signed for 95p - but he may not sign). Commence small claims on day 15 (small cost) and let the "idiot" decide if he wants extra costs and multiple CCJ's against him.
    I always add "Please note any monies received after the 14th day will need to include added costs. In this case, please wait until contacted by the small claims service and act accordingly. You obviously have the right to defend any action should you feel the need to do so or to seek professional legal advice."

    Thanks Lynsey. Do you have a link for the lba letter please? Also would it be sent to the shop address just because it is 'closed' until 8th jan so can he say he couldn't get the letters to sign for due to being closed? As i think the sorting office would only hold the letter for 7 days then return to sender?? Just don't want any reason he can wriggle out of this now. Enough is enough
    24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:

    I’ve been following this thread with interest as I ordered the 12+12. My 2 hampers arrived the Friday before Christmas so were still in time as I needed them for Christmas Day. However, instead of having two Christmas hampers I received 1x retro sweets and 1x galaxy and I ended up running around Tesco’s trying to buy Christmas items to fill the hampers with!!

    ppc_guy, I would like to think you do have everyone’s best interest at heart but given all that has gone on over the past month people are naturally suspicious and frustrated with the situation. I think you would be doing The Norfolk Hamper Company a disservice by posting any further comments as we need to hear this information from Neil, himself.

    When Neil sent out his apology message on Christmas Day there was a noticeable change of tone in the posts on MSE. The posts seemed to soften slightly although people were still obviously disappointed and angry but at least Neil had been in contact. Half the problem has been the lack of information; but this information has to come from Neil not a third party. Your posts seem to onlyexasperate the problem.

    I’m sure Neil knows what he needs to do – firstly address and refund those whose hampers have not turned up or turned up late and secondly, move onto those whose hampers were substandard and address those case by case. It will take some time but if he keeps us in the loop, works through them as quickly as he can and we can see what is happening then he’ll be moving in the right direction (even if it is only in a small way & a bit late!!).
    New LBM May 2014: Mortgage £230,464 [STRIKE]£231,500[/STRIKE]; Loan 1 £0 [STRIKE]£0[/STRIKE]; Barclaycard 1 £0; Barclaycard 2 £0; MBNA £0 [STRIKE]£0[/STRIKE]; Halifax 1 £0;
    Won: April - Tickets, 7 day pass; May - £100 Burts Bees; ZSL Silent Cinema;
    Little Extras: April - L'Occtaine handcream, Eyelash Curlers; May - £15 M&S,

    What's the reason you've obscured the subject?

    And why obscure Neil's e-mail address - wouldn't divulging this help you to help us?? So many posters on here have shared whatever information they have in order to help others. Why, if you have an e-mail address that he responds to, would you not want others to have that 'priveleged' information? We are all of us in this together (aren't we?).

    I havent taken the photos down ?!

    I'm quite concerned that you have e mail from bm dropship on your second e mail. That can't be a coincidence?

    ppc_guy, can you confirm whether or not you have told Neil to continue sending orders out, despite them being too late for their purposes, i.e. Christmas.

    I only ask as it seems to me that you have more involvement than you are letting on. As a car clamper, is there any reason why you would be registering with sites that make direct deliveries to customers on behalf of retailers? I am also beginning to think that you have had previous contact with Neil probably via golf. Can you categorically deny that you are not helping a mate fleece customers by pretending to help them. Thanks.

    Max,

    I am not a clamper... Also clamping has been banned as you know or not.

    The drop shipping business can be a good way to make money. I have a young family to support and in these times am doing any work i can to make business.

    I can honestly and wholly say that i have never met Neil, Nor have i knowingly had contact with him prior to xmas eve.

    You need to send it to the registered address:
    Registered Office

    64a High St
    Caister On Sea
    Gt Yarmouth
    Norfolk
    Nr30 5eh

    Info HERE

    Lots of template letter samples if you get stuck - though maybe someone one to put together a one you can all use??
    I would not normally give 14 days (7 is suffice), but being the time of the year, 14 may be more apt.

    so how do you have a different email address and why is he sending you emails when you have never met him, you do not know him and you are not a customer? It is bad enough that he has let us all down without divulging customer details to a third party as well. It would be better for all of us if only actual customers and the company themselves post on here or are in contact with us all (or trading standards and PayPal of course).

    Yes I been thinking the same.
    Also wondered if Candy was someone who knew neil and was
    trying to warn us as he has done this before.

    No i do not know Neil and i can assure you all my posts were based on gut feeling .If i had any problems with this company or any other i would of posted the details straight away.It just makes me very cross that he has used MSE to hes advantage and i dont want him to get away with it.
