  • Could somebody advise me please?
I ordered the 12 month hamper deal and on Christmas Eve i put in a Paypal complaint to try and get a refund. I also emailed the company to cancel my order as it was now too late to receive by christmas. Today while i was out, my 15 yr old daughter signed for a parcel - it was a Just Add Cheese Hamper. Not what i should have received which was a christmas themed hamper. The parcel sticker shows a date of Christmas Eve. I dont want the hamper, nice as it looks but i really dont know what i should be doing as my next steps.
  • Do you know if it is possible to have a second paypal account for the same business? Could another member of the company hold a paypal account in a different name? I'm wondering if its still possible to sell more hampers?

Yes you can just change the e mail address via PayPal. My partner and I share an e bay account so we switch all the time dependent on which one of us is selling goods.

Paypal are pretty smart when it comes to that, if they suspect that is the issue they will limit other accounts too. I know our ebay accounts were blocked at the same time until it all got sorted. My husband didn't really use his and he was linked right away.

Of course I'm sure some people will find a way to get around this stuff. I didn't try it because I'm a very honest person, I'm sure there are less honest people who would try.

He told me it would be easier via PayPal, don't know if others were told the same

You see this is another question you have to ask yourself if indeed Neil did plan this from the start. Why would it be easier to pay by paypal, maybe because he knew by the time it went belly up it would be to late for a refund.

Yes Lynsey it is. Although I thought his name was NEIL. As per all his emails and comms. Yet this email address of NEILL. Which matches up to someone posting on here about the 2 different spellings with companies house for different companies.
24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence?

I'm hoping that PayPal have stopped taking payments for the company until all issues are resolved. I think Neil would be better off going back into work to get this all sorted instead of leaving shop closed until 8th jan. has anyone actually had a notification of refund yet as PayPal automatically notify you even if refund is pending
  • I have also had a delivery from UKmail today - sent on 24th December.

I had asked for 6 hampers from the 12+12 deal. 2 christmas hampers, 1 just a cheese, 1 retro, 1 galaxy and 1 apple juice/pop? (if I remember correctly). I had also ordered other items.

My box delivered today (left with a neighbour or I probably would have refused delivery) had 2 just add cheese (wicker trays I think) and 2 retro sweet well filled in lovely little hampers. I have to say that if they were not too late and had I not already had to replace these gifts anyway I would have actually been really pleased with them.

No sign of my other hampers and obviously only 2 as requested.

Not sure what to do next ... I guess I just have to wait and see. I have requested refund and filed a claim with paypal. I will leave the hampers in the box for now as I have no real need for them.

The only slight upside is that at least at the end of the day I have something to show for my money which is more than some people can say.

Let's hope he's true to his work and that some refunds are on their way.

    Daffy,

I will now concur. i hadnt even noticed. The name on Companies house for NHC is Neil with 1 L. however under Neill he has the old hamper company.

His email name is set up with 1 L but his email address has 2.

I'm a really trusting person usually and he did seem really accommodating. Lesson learnt for future perhaps. I have had some hampers though as I have ordered previous deals. I must say I have had some nice ones previously and some that were a little substandard. I did have to chase him up constantly though as to their whereabouts, which I found stressful. I'm owed about 8 hampers at moment

Maybe someone beat him to neil with 1 (l)??
He could have used a (.) or (_) etc though??
