You are new to the thread. What has happened in relation to your hampers?24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0 -
I wrote a long post earlier, but managed to delete it. You are all therefore spared the long-winded version as I am now too bored to type it all out again!! :P
I bought the two Galaxy and two Retro Sweet hampers (buy two get two free_ back in October. I am pleased I didn't pay full price for them as frankly I'd have been gutted to have paid £100 for such small, empty hampers! However, I received them back at the beginning of December, before I had read this thread. Had I known, or had any suspicion of all the issues this company would cause, I'd have thoroughly checked the contents of each hamper against what I was promised and lodged a complaint straight away. I popped out to B&M bargains and topped each hamper up with goodies- I'd guess I spent an extra £4 on each to make them less of a cringe-worthy gift to hand over.
I am stunned at Neil's attitude towards his customers. I don't agree that we 'don't have anything to complain about', that we're 'not out of pocket' and that we 'had a good deal' (to paraphrase some of his Tweets).
I run my own business. Like most people I suppose, I don't like dealing with complaints, but I take all comments on board and try to learn from any mistakes. I like to think that I treat all my customers with respect and courtesy, and that every issue raised is resolved to both my customer's, and my own satisfaction. My business is small, but growing slowly - any GCSE Business student knows that trying to grow your business too fast, too soon, can result in huge problems - as I'm sure Neil is now learning the hard way.
(Sorry Daffy, opened the thread in another window and am not sure how to quote now I've pressed 'advanced reply - please rest assured I've no connection to NHco!!)0 -
Sorry for typos by the way *blush*0

Lol sorry alpha I hadn't seen you before on here. Apologies x24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0

No worries Daffy - I can completely understand your concern! I'm a lurker, and only registered today
Oh, also I was going to mention that I was by no means one of the first to order my hampers. I found the deal on this site, and took a few days to mull it over. I can double check, but I think placed the order at the end of October, just after half term - maybe the beginning of November. I didn't specifically request the hampers be sent before Christmas. My surname begins with an H.
I have no idea why they chose who got sent their hampers by priority.0 -
Ha ha MSE, there is a link on the right hand side of the page which says about refunds for Christmas presents not received/ arrived late.
Not impressed, we could have done with some info before now, instead of us all having to work it out ourselves
Anyway, it states on there that under the DSR regulations, he needs to refund within 7 days. I emailed him on 21st stating that I wanted my 3 orders cancelled, and although he totally disregarded this email and decided to try and delivery a box today, it should mean that I will receive a refund tomorrow for the goods he decided not to send
Yeah, and the chance of this happening is the same as Paypal deciding that they will refund me even though my dispute is out of their 45 days lol !!
Will believe the refund once it is safely in my bank account. I had to pay by Paypal, as I was bankrupt 2 years ago so do not have a credit card0 -

I just think it was a lucky dip tbh. There does not appear to be any rhyme or reason with anything that has happened24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0
