I think it's ridiculous to post something on Christmas Eve that has Christmas Cake and Christmas Pudding in it. Don't give in, ask for your money back and tell him it was not fit for purpose as it was sent too late for Christmas.0

WELL!! Ive just had a knock at the door, UKMail man standing there.
With 1 box, I asked who it was from, he said he didnt know, but on the address label I saw "The Norfolk Hamper Company".
So I REFUSED delivery.
I might be cutting my nose off to spite my face, but I advised by email to cancel my 3 outstanding orders as I was waiting for 18 hampers to arrive by 14th Dec etc etc, and I went and bought very small replacements gifts on Saturday for my work colleagues etc and gave them out on xmas day.
So hopefully Neil will receive these back and action my refund, like I requested last week.
I didn't see when they were posted, the mail man looked very unhappy and just whipped the box away again mumbling
Probably going to regret it, as now have no money nor hampers but didn't want to be left with hampers that should have been sent onto family etc0 -

Just checked and I sent the email to Neil cancelling my 3 orders on 21st Dec, stating that he is in breach of contract and so cancel all orders and to process a refund immediately.0

@ ppc_guy - can you update how many refunds he's given so far ..................... if he's genuine and started to refund as per the email he allegedly sent you. Today is the day, yes??
Also as a cross reference, MSE members affected can confirm actual refunds received today.
Today, we should find out if he really is genuine and if he's really sorry.
Or .......................

I'm checking my Paypal account. No sign of anything yet. I'll let you know which happens first, my money returning or those pigs flying by my window. :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

why am I not surprised!
and I can't see what not being at home has to do with emails - you can obviously access the web from where you are so would clearly be able to access emails as well.
When the hole gets that big you might want to consider throwing the shovel away.....0 -
I paid on the 8th October via PayPal £59.99 but used my American Express card. I've received nothing to date (if my parcel does turn up now then I'll refuse it anyway) so am out of time for a PayPal claim.
Put a claim in last Friday with AMEX and spoken with a very helpful lady today. She said that my money will be credited back within the next 7 days! Yippee
Just wanted to let anyone know that if you happened to pay by AMEX card their time limit is 90 days and £25 minimum amount. :j0 -

I'm sorry, but it makes no difference whether they could be used or not. The simple fact is they were posted too late, therefore not fit for purpose.0 -

exactly, the pre Christmas delivery date was part of the contract. He has quite clearly breached that contract.0
