Just checked my outstanding order of 12+12. I was happy to wait and see as I really would like to actually have the hampers.

On the website it now says in a white box on the left:
'We are now closed until 8th January"

time to make a paypal claim. :( If I wait that long, my 45 days will be up exactly from my order on the 24th of Nov.

You will need to formally cancel your remaining orders under the guarantee they offer on their website. Then open a claim via paypal .

for somebody who is allegedly just a "concerned bystander" your posts seem to suggest you have a lot of sway with this Neil person. You suggest that until a few days ago you had never met him, yet you seem to know a lot about his business and now you seem to be his close business advisor, telling him what to do.

I'm sorry but by the things you are posting I simply cannot believe you when you say you are unconnected. I think you are far closer to this company than you are prepared to say - their 'mouthpiece' in effect. I think you have been sent on here to try and calm the troubled waters and effect damage limitation.

Some people may be taken in by you, but I can see it for what it is.

Rebecca, think what you will. I normally post on the private parking forums and have been around for some time

I'm sorry I agree with others. For someone who was merely 'intrigued' by this fiasco you ain't half 'involved'. Ironically you are the only one getting replies to your emails whilst the rest of us await a reply. So he can use his other email but not his business one to try and rectify his errors. Your email must be like the bat phone. And again I point out that he shouldn't be needing to take advice from a bystander. An experienced man would know all about consumer rights etc

I believe you may want to help him or these customers but keep updating on here how you are getting replies and what he supposedly is going to do really will start to wind people up more than what they are

Daffy, he may reply to me because I'm not connected. The updates are intended to help and any updates I get I will continue to post. Appreciated or not

Ppc guy, why has he only replied to your emails?

What's made him pick you out of the no doubt hundreds of emails?

perhaps because on Xmas eve i had tried to contact him to offer my help, i also got radio norfolk to pass my details over and the same again from Norfolks Finest boys in blue all of whom i was aware had been in touch with him.

I followed this up with a direct email to him.

According to other threads on MSE, ppc_guy is in the private parking [STRIKE]scam[/STRIKE], sorry game. As on this thread there are some people who believe what he says, and some who don't.

    Max,

I am actually well known on the Private parking forums. people like coupon-mad, and nev (pepipoo) will vouch for me.

When i am home i will screenshot the emails from him if people are still in doubt. Im in yarmouth right now ironically.

Are you going to ask him to pick it up from you as it's too late for Christmas? I wouldn't accept it. I think it's ridiculous to post something on Christmas Eve that has Christmas Cake and Christmas Pudding in it. Don't give in, ask for your money back and tell him it was not fit for purpose as it was sent too late for Christmas.

@ ppc_guy - can you update how many refunds he's given so far ..................... if he's genuine and started to refund as per the email he allegedly sent you. Today is the day, yes??

Also as a cross reference, MSE members affected can confirm actual refunds received today.

Today, we should find out if he really is genuine and if he's really sorry.

    Or .......................
