The Norfolk hamper company thread

I couldn't give a monkey's about much else other than getting my money back. It may be the season of goodwill but Neil's rude and aggressive replies before the total communication black out seemed to suggest otherwise and whilst I wish no ill on him and his family, I want my money back and I want Neil to reply to ONE OF HIS CUSTOMERS and not some apparently random bystander...
If Neil had refunded a week ago, I would be miffed but would leave this alone, instead my money is sat in his pockets. He may have not been able to enjoy this Christmas because of the stress of this, and I have to say, my sympathy levels are slim to none. Welcome to the club mate
Apologies for the tone of this message, I just needed to let it out and have a rant I suppose dgNSDs 7/20

This is prime example of what I mean. Close down twitter, amend website of company so offers have miraculously 'disappeared', not reply to a single email that any customer has sent, only be supposedly responding to someone who has got no connection with this issue and only able to dispatch 'group' generic emails. Can anyone tell me where in any of these activities there is a demonstration of 1 ounce that something positive is about to happen for all these customers left out of pocket?24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0 -

Is this a new deal, or an extension of the old one? It has 2 different dates, I can't tell.

It just gets better doesn't it Max. I'm sure trading standards will however be more than satisfied when he can produce the emails he has been sending to ppc stating how the refund process is starting on the 27th dec as ppc tells us all that it is. I'm sure everyone will then appreciate starting the new year with their money back24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0 -

According to other threads on MSE, ppc_guy is in the private parking [STRIKE]scam[/STRIKE], sorry game. As on this thread there are some people who believe what he says, and some who don't.0 -
Neil take note
The aim of the wrongful trading laws is to make directors of companies that are getting into financial trouble, who might otherwise try to trade out of trouble, stop and think carefully about whether they are being overly optimistic about the company’s prospects.
You Neil can be held personally responsible. You have two director numbers, you have run and failed the same type of business previously, you are avoiding your creditors, the evidence is there.
Directors who, either intentionally or through
neglect or incompetence, fail to meet the
standards expected of them can face
personal claims to compensate the
company, bankruptcy or disqualification and
even, in rare cases of fraudulent trading,
imprisonment.

A new deal for 2013?! Wow.
This is his business pattern. This company has cash flow problems on a huge scale it seems.
Launch a seemingly 'good' deal, get +++ customers paying up front for something they won't see for a while. Cash flows in.
This money then funds the current expenditure and deliveries due.
The cycle repeats, until.......now, when refunds are due, customers are severely unhappy, there are few 'new' customers so there is no cash coming in. Hence no refunds, no reply to emails, shutdown of Internet presence. He needs new purchases and payments to fund refunds and get money through PayPal I fear. Without new customers, there will be no cash flow. It's a mess.
I'd advise anyone to claim through PayPal if within the 45 day limit. I had to, and to escalate, to receive my refund back in October. Before the Xmas 'rush' for a non deal related order. It was a wait to receive the money then, so I fear a wait for others now. Act sooner rather than later.0 -

From what I can tell it expired on 5th dec and the hampers start coming out from Jan 2013 so I think it's old. But it has just let me add to cart so maybe extended to order until 31st December. So can take money but not refund it.24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? :beer:0 -
Under the 12 month offer it says
PLEASE SEE OUR NEW 6 MONTH DEAL LAUNCHED 10PM 1ST DECEMBER
Let's see him get it on grabbit this time. Where else is he going to try to publicise it? Surely PayPal should heve frozen his account by now.0
