The Norfolk hamper company thread

So sorry to hear that many of you have still not received your hampers (sorry to hear this, but unfortunately not surprised).

Mine (3+3) turned up last week, so I feel that I am one of the luckier ones. I did have to add a few things to the Galaxy hamper and the Christmas hamper too and in my later dealings with Neil, found him to be untruthful and the blame lay everywhere but with the NHC.

Fingers crossed that more hampers turn up today!

I still think / hope that the company did not deliberately set out to defraud/disappoint - but rather took on far too many orders that they had no hope of fulfilling! Which is not good business practice - and if he has had previous businesses, he should have known this.

When under pressure (and when already having your money), Neil does not seem to be as charming as I originally thought and I am pleased that I don't have to have any further dealings with the company. Feel sorry for those that do - especially if you ordered the monthly hampers!

Will be watching Look East his evening!

For those who asked what I received: I had ordered the 3+3 deal. Received 2 Just Add Cheese hampers which are fab, 2 galaxy hampers and 2 Christmas goodies hampers. Overall pleased even though they were late. For £60 they seem worth the money.

Aww, just read the recent posts on this thread - sorry so many of you are missing Christmas gifts and so close to Christmas. Wonders if NHC is going to get a visit from the 'Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come'?

I also rang the radio station, & they asked if I would go on TV but I did refuse (sorry guys) couldn't do it as I had to go out & get more stuff.. (I was in ASDA at the time) (& had an issue with the neighbours cats, but thats another story) I said I liked the look of the hampers which one's I ordered,said that I thought he'd over stretched himself, said it was the lack of communication as much as anything, not being able to get thru to speak to anyone, said I'd been very patient & I could've told people if I'd known they were not coming & did e-mail him to say this but no reply, but that I am now worried that I won't get any hampers at all let alone for christmas, tbh I was a bit garbled didn't say as much as I wanted I don't think, & I'd never spoken to anyone on the radio before so was a bit awed tbh :eek: just listening to it atm, had t/standards on the news & said it was trying to get out local deliveries & that other people would be offered refunds... hth

well still here still nothing and this is from August the pay £50 But get £100 worth of Products Hamper
but have to say a massive thank you to Evie for going in front of the TV camera's today

If you have sky TV channel 961 is the BBC East Channel and u can see the regional news from there if your in a different part of the country

Just out of interest has anyone had hampers on a monthly basis and its just this month where they haven't received the Xmas one that was part of their deal? Mine goes back to July and this month should have been a Xmas hamper x2 plus a sweet one free. Or is everyone waiting on this month's as their very first hamper delivery? Thanks x

im not local so unless hes driving down to London on Xmas eve I wont get my 3+3 or my honey hamper

ty for everyone putting the word out to the Trading Standards even though in this mans words they were monitoring this forum from way before we contacted them and for contracting the press and naming and shaming him -
I have emailed him demanding all my orders be cancelled and a full refund back so expect to be last to see anything from him
i will however keep looking in and saying my piece when i can
