As a newbie I can't post the link so please log on to facebook and have a look.

The Norfolk Hamper Company Limited – Update 24.12.2012.

The Trading Standards service fully appreciates the frustrations raised by consumers over the non delivery and late delivery of Christmas hampers.

Trading Standards has been in touch... with Neil Alvey of the Norfolk Hamper Company again today and have been advised by Mr Alvey he is doing all that he can to satisfy orders today.

Mr Alvey advised more orders were processed for delivery by courier over the weekend and today. He also advised local deliveries will also be made by company personnel today.

Mr Alvey has prioritised getting hampers delivered and will begin to address complaints over the Christmas period.

The Trading Standards Service will work with the company to provide advice about legal obligations in order to resolve consumer complaints.
  • Mine was the 3+3 deal, just add cheese which is really nice, chocolate and Christmas, both were in baskets which are really small (don't know why i was thinking more picnic size) they not much more than the length and width of my tv remote control. For the ten pound I paid they are ok not worth £24.99 by any stretch of the imagination. Mine were collected 21/12 with next day delivery.
    How do I post pics?

  • Well, cameraman has been and gone! Told the whole story but cannot remember anything I said as I was very nervous!!:o

Also took footage of me looking at the company website on my laptop!

I hope nobody minds but I mentioned other people's stories as my situation is nowhere near as bad as others (nobody by name of course!)

On Look East at 6.30 this evening if anyone is from round these parts! (And apologies if it sounds like a totally garbled mess!)

    P.S.
I bet that's my refund out of the window if he sees it (but it will be £85 well-spent!)!! :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Hi everyone. I ordered some mrs bridges gift hampers from debenhams last night and they have been dispatched already. They were also reduced. I won't get them until after Christmas but my family are aware of situation. Don't know if that's any good to any of you. Merry Xmas to you all xx

If anything, you should be one of the first people he will refund, in the hope the Local news broadcast that the lady shown on their show was refunded fully.
He will be hoping for positive publicity.
  • Will try and remember to watch (or record as no doubt I'll be trying to calm down two hysterically excited children).

Hope everyone gets sorted soon x
  • I have today received a just add cheese and a galaxy hamper, I am in a state of shock!

Hadn't thought of it like that - but, even if he does, I won't be letting him off that lightly!

He'll need to have refunded everyone and replaced sub-standard goods before I tell anyone I'm happy!
