Was going to let it lie but couldn't resist ringing Paul Moseley at Radio Norfolk! He's passing my name and number on to a colleague who's covering the story for local TV (because I am fairly local) who may or may not ring to speak to me!

Will do my best for you all (and will post back) if they do!! :j
    thank you x

Yes, if you "accidentally" spell your name slightly differently or give a slightly different date of birth. Automated systems won't usually pick that up.

I've had several correspondence from him previously where he kept switching how he spelt his name. I thought it was just typo but not so sure now
  • Have just done the business with paypal, and it immediately escalated it to a claim. I dont know how this works, but did it as I have nothing to lose now.

Interesting. There may be something in this for the journalists to investigate (hope they are reading this!)

Well done you, I wont talk to them today, too many bleeps would be needed and I would not be able to contain myself !!

I honestly hope they do a story, and investigate this, as we have already been let down by Trading standards so far etc, so lets hope they put more of a story out there.

    Good luck !!!

    hi guys,

i had also opted for the 12+12 deal and received the just add cheese and galaxy hamper today.

    thing is...
i am not sure whether to be glad as i got something or to be sad that i didn't receive the chillies hamper and some other bits which i had requested.

as mazy m posted...i am now feeling worried whether i will get the remaining hampers or my money...in case things turn worse for the company.

anyway, merry christmas guys...have a gud time with yr folks:)

    Hey all,

I really hope those that are waiting have a miracle today and receive them and that they are what you expect as so many of them seem to be falling short of what was advertised.

As i've said before for the money I paid i'm happy but when looking at what a few others have received and yes I noticed too those closer it seems very unfair that for the same deals customers that live further away are getting crappier and crappier hampers in comparison to those that live closer.

Can I ask what people who had the 12 + 12 deal received for their "Fiery Chilli" as mine had NOT A THING that was advertised in it!! and the Christmas one was pretty dismal especially compared to some others i've seen on here. Also a couple of my hampers were pretty bashed up one was even stained (??) and don't seem very good quality and like they will last.

For those of you that have done the 12 + 12 and received one or two or even more of your hampers are you putting your trust in the company to receive the rest ( and more importantly AS DESCRIBED AND ADVERTISED?) or will you be putting in a claim? I was thinking of emailing to request specific hampers for my January ones and if he doesn't reply to then raise a claim?

I've very concerned as I really can't afford to lose the £115 I paid outright and I don't want this stress every month and putting the stress on my nan who usually doesn't mind waiting in for a delivery but this was just appalling.

Due to the time of year I was willing to give him the benefit of the my doubt but after seeing so many peoples bad experiences and the lies that have been told to many I really don't have much faith that the other hampers will arrive throughout the year. So on what grounds could I do a claim on? Not on time? Not as advertised? No communication? ( like others I contacted so many times to no avail?) yet other people we being messaged back.

I hope I don't sound ungrateful when there's many people that are still waiting for their hampers.

    Cheers Maz

It sounds to me as if he has only sent out the 2 from the 12+2 deal, and he has sent a Just Cheese and a Galaxy to everyone in that deal irrespective of what they may have asked for. I guess I can kiss goodbye to my 5+5 hampers then.
