Phone answered straight away, I cannot believe it there is a parcel out for delivery for me today!!!!! Hope it arrives in time so I can add extra items and make them look good enough for gifts, will let you all know.
Worth a call anyone else still waiting

I was wondering what to do if they arrive today. Do I reject delivery, and hope that I get a refund, or do I take them, even though I've bought different presents now?

I don't think I'd get a refund if rejected delivery, but I don't believe they would be of adequate standard if they did arrive and I accepted them.

I'm overthinking this, aren't I? They're not really going to come!

I did ask trading standards on fb this, it really needs clarifying for all those who don't need them now. Is there a contact no for trading standards we could call for advice I wonder?

I just tried and the lady said their system has just gone down so she couldn't check

Just called UK Mail and their systems are down.
When I asked the lady to check she said, 'oh is it from the Norfolk Hamper Company'!;)

Anyway she took my details and if there is anything will call me back.

Just a quick search of Companies House. He was Co Secretary, I think. Another Alvey was Director - possibly his wife?

Oh and I've just put in my Paypal claim for £77.
I paid the £10 hamper club membership separately though so I wont get that back!

Think of all those tenners he gets to keep!!

Yes I was wondering the same. Did they actually check on friday when they visited if he had the stock, booked the couriers.

I doubt they'll be open today though. Think most gov depts are closed!
