  • Neil has responded to my e-mail telling me i can't have a refund when hampers have left !!! Just emailed back and said have they lol Am not getting stressed about this i have enough on with work :)

    I called the direct number and wonderful lady at UKmail had a long chat to me about it all. But for me there are no hampers on the way and they have collected from NHC today so my hampers which were supposed to be here first week in december, then by the 14th and then supposed to be here today have never been despatched and are not on the way. My paypal claim is now a dispute to get a full refund.:(

    Hi. I have emailed a letter before action as although I have finally Recieved my hampers they are not as described. I have also emailed newspaper and am contemplating contacting the police myself. Obviously they know all about it from him anyway.
  • Nothing for me today - have just checked with the woman at UKMail again (who, incidentally, was lovely and helpful and polite - I'd almost forgotten what good customer service was like!).
    My local Waitrose has some lovely hampers in store - might pop and get one of those instead - not as much of a bargain but will at least have them.

    I WILL be getting my money back if they don't arrive by Saturday or if I'm not happy with them.

    I WILL NOT be using this company again.

    My wife has just come off the phone from UKMail, as expected nothing for our postcode. I am so angry with the lies this man has told and I will be taking the appropriate action. We definitely need to co-ordinate our campaign of action against this disgrace of a company.

    Thanks for the update, I've looked at your list of what you received.

    This makes me a bit more hopeful that I'll get mine, as they seem to be packing batches of the same deals.

    Can I just ask were the 2 hampers the same size, and roughly the dimensions of them?

    If everyone who can fills in a paypal claim you can escalate it to a dispute instantly if you have already been in contact numerous times. Once you have done that paypal then look into it and it states that if in between goods arrived but instead the claim changes to not as requested you can change the dispute so i suggest everyone who can just files a dispute. Anyone else just contact paypal and ask for advice as if enough people have the same problem with the same company I am sure they will assist as they will not want to be linked with a problematic seller as of course paypal have some of our money too as they take a commission.
  • To those who have opened PayPal dispute and escalated, are you going to refuse delivery of hampers if they do turn up either before or after Xmas? (a massive 'if' with a flying pig attached)
