What do we do if we have received hampers with missing items or items substituted with lower value goods? I need to give my hampers as gifts but I have had to top them up with extra bits myself. Where do we stand legally? Can we ask for a partial refund or ask for the missing goods to be sent at a later date? What are others in this situation planning to do? I also discovered that the packaging on some of my hampers is damaged and will have to repackage them.

Also I should add that they never replied to my emails so everything was agreed over the phone. I have nothing in writing from them.

raise a dispute on paypal as you can do it when wrong goods are also sent

i paid with paypal but then a week after got scammed by some animal in america !
closed down my account when i got sorted with refund
so i cant go through paypal to get my money back as i now dont have a account

Have you tried ringing Paypal to ask? If you paid by card, I'm sure a dispute can be raised as you can raise disputes even when you haven't got an account. A cash balance may be trickier, but even so I'm sure they must have something in place for these situations.

Do you think this is something the police could help us with?

Could I just say a big well done to UK Mail.
IMHO they have gone above and beyond to help out people that are not even THEIR customers.
Norfolk Hamper Company could learn a thing or two from them!

Have phoned 101 non emergency police number. They took details but said since I have Recieved my order although they can investigate people who haven't Recieved will be in a better situation to open a complaint. So over to you phone 101. And no they wouldn't tell me if he had complained already
