So here is what ive received for the 3 + 3 Hampers, as you can see the cheese and galaxy hampers look nice and full where the christmas hamper is very empty and disappointing :(

    Hamper 1 The Christmas Basket

    Christmas Pudding 454g 350g
    Ginger Biscuits none
    Lemon Curd 320g 113g
    Shortbread Fingers 150g 2x80G
Christmas Fruit Cake a 'bar' 5.25 inches x 2.25 inches
    Strawberry Preserve 340g 113g

This is exactly what I received - they must have been packed the same time. The fruit cake is so small.

The 'festive fayre' puddings are 99p in Home & Bargain :(

I ordered the the festive offer at the beginning of November as I read on the site they would be delivered the first week of December which was suitable for me, rang when they did not arrive told that I would receive them by the 14th, like many still waiting and hoping, rung numerous times but their telephone seems to be constantly engaged or off the hook and emails are not replied. I spoke to Neil before ordering and he said about the fantastic response for orders from people using this site. I think it is bad management on his part if he knew he had this great response he should of prepared himself, got extra staff sorted and adequate stock long before arranged so people did not have this worry of not receiving goods. To not communicate with his customers who have parted with their money is absolutely disgusting, the whole business seems a shambles. I for one will never use this company again to be treated in such a poor fashion, even if the hampers do come and are okay, this is customer care at its absolute lowest, infact it's pretty non existent from my experience so far.
  • Well another delivery day gone, despite being told definitely with you Tuesday/Wednesday. Tomorrow I have to go into work and start contacting people who have purchased tickets for our raffle that due to non delivery of goods we will be refunding peoples money. That means our unit loses out on much needed funds.
Absolutely furious at the lies I have been told by this company and I can safely say I will not go anywhere near them again.
    Appalling customer service.
am going to ask for the additional postage to be put on mine so I can get them on Saturday!! What do you think the response will be?????
  • Well he's just tweeted to say 2 van loads have been collected so they should be delivered by Friday.... Let's hope it's not 2 x small vans!!! Still sound as though there is still loads to be sent... Not feeling hopeful!

what he shouldn't have kept doing was more and more deals
or limit the deals he did too to the first 10/20 buyers like he said - but he kept extending the deals and like the 12+ 12 deals
they were supposed to be 2 per month which would have been ok but then loads asked for them all at once and as soon as he opened that floodgate he was sinking

The fruitcake is about a pound, too. :(
  • lemony...sorry for the delay but I've been out for most of the day.

I've just logged in to my account with them and it's shown as Ltd Edition Hamper Deal priced at £65 although the description of the contents is the same as the one I copied from biscuitmad - 2 hampers filled with Christmas fayre.

Is there anyone out there who's ordered the same as me?
    x

    x

The Ltd edition hamper deal was 1x Cadbury, 1x Thorntons, 1x preserves, 1x Ltd edition hamper with "surprises" ( mine was cake, redcurrant jelly and mulled wine infusion bags), 1x sweets and membership of hamper club & chocolate spoon

    Hope this helps

ETA, the one I'm waiting for is the Christmas Special - which is 2 larger hampers one including fresh fruit and a pack of luxury Christmas Crackers
  • I have just got 4 hampers from the 12 hamper deal and 4 hampers have been delivered to various relatives across the country as part of the same deal.
The hampers themselves are quite small but quite cute!
I had 3 christmas ones delivered and they were as most people described but the people I sent them were pleased to get them as a gift.
I got 3 mixed chocolate /sweet ones for christmas /birthday gifts which were a mix of cadburys, Thorntons and galaxy - all different .
I also got a mixed jam/ preserves and it contained 2 full size chutneys, a full size jam and 2 smaller ones.
None of them were worth the value of £30.00, but I paid less than a fiver each delivered on this deal so I guess they were great value.
I think I have been lucky with what I got and with the addition of a few extras will make great gifts.
I will not be getting any more hampers until the end of February so I hope the delivery situation will have improved by then.
    Good luck to everyone else
