To be fair, it's probably not on their system until it's been collected. And you don't need to message them, just put the tracking number inot the box on their website.

Ukmail won't have any record of it until it is scanned... We assume they will collect later today, so poss later tonight there should be tracking details available (only know this as we use ukmail at work)0 -

Yes thanks, just seen it. The problem is I was told they had been sent last Wednesday, via email.0 -

This is my point. Because of his incompetence, he has had to consistently lie to people about when items were sent. To be honest, I don;t think they had a plan at all, and have been winging it for the last three weeks. On one occasion they told someone their hampers were sent out, and later on told the same person that they were waiting for a sweets delivery to complete their order.
One of my areas of expertise is building databases that can be used to plan workload, and another is using the data for workload planning. To be honest, any 16 year old IT student could build a database that stores orders, and gives flags when stocks are low giving you time to reorder.
It's also not that difficult to plan workload. You only have to know how many orders of each type, and then measure the various elements involved in packing, boxing and despatching orders. It would have been painfully easy to see that there were more orders to go out than time available to pack them for one person. In fact, I think I suggested on here over two weeks ago that he needed to employ some elves from the huge unemployed population of Norfolk to help out.0 -
No crime has been committed on this thread, or, in fact, on twitter. What people post on social media is in the public domain and can be repeated anywhere.
The 'threats' Neil claims have been made are, however, something the police may look at.
If Neil really has gone to the police they would advise him to speak to MSE and they would remove this thread, so really I doubt the police are involved at all.
Please don't stop posting your experiences about this or any other company. If people were gagged, like Neil seems to want them to be (he's blocked lots of people on twitter, so now all you see are the 'nice' messages), we'd soon all be living in a country resembling communist China0 -

I believe the "threats" he referred to were in a post that was later removed, but didn't contain any direct threats, just someone saying they would wait until today, and then if nothing turned up they would go and see him and either get their paid for hampers or their money back, but not accept a credit note. I don't think I have seen any posts with direct threats on.
I think he has lied about the Police being involved in order to try nd scare people into removing negative comments.
I also believe one poster on here is feeding him the information, although they seem to not be able to understand plain English. (I believe the correct description is "thick").0 -

If it was my business i would be worried that the police would involve trading standards!
If they look back a few weeks on his twitter posts they will also notice he was desperate to get publicity on mse asking for people to post the deals on here! It really is a two edged sword!
People have not received the service they were sold so are quite within their rights to let people know.0 -
My hubby just phoned me to tell me my missing hamper arrived.
I now have all 24 hampers, and tbh altho they have been slow and your all panicing i would buy from this company again, everything they have told me they would do they did and before the dates they gave me.
I hope they do do a similar deal in the future as the hampers we did receive were lovely, it's a learning curve and i'm sure they will have learnt alot from this experience.DEC GC £463.67/£450
