The Norfolk hamper company thread

I am sure there was another lady that ordered the christmas hamper back in august £50 have you recieved it yet, or anyone else that ordered that 1?
I was told mine would be sent out on monday, no dispatch email for me and uk mail have nothing for this address either. I have sent yet another email to add to the 4 that have gone unanswered.
Makes me very sad that businesses don't want to communicate with customers and obviously think that because they got lots of orders off mse they don't have to make an effort cos next year when they have a deal it will be posted on her and a whole load of new people will order. Plus he is keeping the local orders sweet, no complaints from any of them.I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:0 -

The 'threats' Neil claims have been made are, however, something the police may look at.
If Neil really has gone to the police they would advise him to speak to MSE and they would remove this thread, so really I doubt the police are involved at all.
Please don't stop posting your experiences about this or any other company. If people were gagged, like Neil seems to want them to be (he's blocked lots of people on twitter, so now all you see are the 'nice' messages), we'd soon all be living in a country resembling communist China
Hi, i know i said i would not post on this thread again, but i have been watching this thread and the one on twitter and feel i must come back on to confirm. To date i have not been contacted by the police or anyone else in relation to my posts. The only reason i deleted them and stopped posting was so Neil could get on with posting peoples hampers etc.I do feel hes threats of police are a way to stop people from posting anything negative. Some people are pleased with there hampers and that is good.0 -

Hello Brunette and everyone else
ME hunni i ordered the £50 back in august + another deal in October and i am still waiting i emailed him and got a reply yesterday The Reply reply from Neil saying this week for definite apologizes for the delay
I do think though those that shouted at him got priority and those of us that kept quiet kept getting pushed back because i didn't ask until yesterday because yes it was stated originally first week of December - i wasn't like a lot of people needing them early i could wait till this weekend, i'll be honest most were for us here anyway but one bit im giving to some friends who we visiting on Friday evening
so im my mail i asked for Thursday the latest .
I have tried so hard to stay positive about getting these hampers - as i have said in previous posts the goods i ordered before from them were top notch on time no problems , and by the sounds of it they still are ( the pics Ive seen look lovley )
so now im just waiting too - but i;ll defiantly let other mse-ers know when they arrive x
hope everyone does get there's by the end of the week0 -
My order was the deal for 24 hampers - 2 a month for a year. So the first two were for first week in december. i was then told this would be by 14th - after numerous emails, tweets, contacting UK mail and filing a Paypal claim (seems like I have until the 6th jan to escalate so paypal get involved or else their rules are to side with the seller:eek:) i have now been told the first two will be despatched thursday/friday. I am also told my subsequent months deliveries of hampers will not be effected or delayed.
I am sure that the earliest this means they will be delivered is 24th december unless they pay extra to UKmail for weekend delivery so I have been let down entirely and I really do not think they will be here in time for christmas. As the first two were foodie xmas style ones i have also had to buy in additional food incase they dont get here so I have enough food for guests (even if its not in a fancy hamper as a special treat).
I am feeling really upset about it all and even been in tears (I am not a teary sort but overtired from my own christmas work load and i could do without broken promises) and even worse this is my first 2 so I am worried I am going to have this every single month and I could seriously do without the stress and worry0 -
How can I read the posts on Twitter without having an account? When I google Norfolk Hamper Company Twitter, I can only get the tweets made by NHC, so I don't know what they are in reply to. I'd like to read the tweets that NHC are receiving.
Thanks to anyone who can help.0 -

The threats mentioned on Twitter coincided with a couple of posts by one member which have since been deleted one of which was a companies house report that shouldn't of been posted because it breaches mse rules. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/forum-faqs#companydetails
The other said they were intending to attempt to collect their hampers and or money back. Those posts are still visible in googles cache & do not contain any obvious threats.0 -

Still nothing here... was off visiting friends and relations again today so have now had to buy 5x alternative gifts for people... thankfully I managed to do it cheaply thanks to a chocolate glitch a few weeks ago (my chocolate biscuit stash is very depleated though!:() and thanks to good old Home Bargains!!!
Was told my hampers were dispatched on Monday... can't be bothered now asking or waiting- and too late for a Paypal case... been a steep learning curve for me and one I won't be repeating...0
