  • I've just called ukmail & they have nothing for me either..... Emailed Neil & got the auto reply stating that they would not be replying to emails!
It's so frustrating the lack of communication we are receiving. If we were told something positive / constructive it wouldn't be so bad.....
Here's hoping thy get despatched today!!

Just contacted UK Mail again and nothing for my address today, he told me mine were getting dispached on the 13th, I've asked him x4 via twitter if they left then and I've been ignored, whilst he's tweeted to others...nice!!!

Heard back from Paypal who advise to wait a bit longer.

I won't be ordering again even if they had the crown jewels in them, I thought Thorntons were appalling 2 years ago but this company geez!!!

Just emailed them and got automated message, my order still shows as processing
    I love this place :j:T:j

I've refrained from checking until now, but UK mail say they've got nothing for my postcode today. Luckily I've only had to buy one replacement gift so far. As the week goes on however it will get worse. Not everyone swaps Christmas presents on 25th.

A big van just pulled up outside my house and I got all excited... but the delivery wasn't for me :(
  • Well I've received no hampers and no email mentioning dispatch.., it looks like I've wasted my money. I can't afford to replace the 'treats' that were listed as being in the hamper so it looks like we'll be going without this Xnas. With them being so late and so little time to arrive.., I just think they aren't going to arrive. If they arrive after Christmas, I'll refuse to accept it and seek a refund.

Never again and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I will say so anytime I see the name mentioned.

.. Sounds hopeful that when you get the despatch email delivery is soon to follow... Fingers tossed for an email today!!!!!

Can you post pics when you gt them????
  • I post with trepidation on this thread - last time I did I was given a hard time for being 'negative' for doubting one of the original deals.

I ended up ordering something different (not a 'deal')from this company, but like some of you, my hamper did not arrive in the timescale promised and chasing it proved fruitless. Luckily I was within Paypal timescales for a refund. These deals have been offered repeatedly, and cynically promoted on MSE by the company offering incentives on Twitter. They wanted the exposure on here, actively sought it by several posting id's (which were later removed by the forum team), but dont like it when people are let down and express their unhappiness. I won't use them again, and won't recommend them to others either. I'm glad some are happy,, but it is appalling so many people are stressed, worried and out of pocket. It's not right, and I'm so sorry for anyone waiting.

I've been lucky with other hampers from Waitrose and Marks, and I'm happy with them. But I did need a couple 'small' ones last week and wanted to share with those waiting that you can still get some lovely hampers at a bargain price and guaranteed delivery. Check the link

I received the little Blueberry one which is only £5.99 delivered and includes a tea cup and tea treats. It's lovely and still in stock at time of posting.

I hope that helps some of you, and I truly hope you do get what you were promised in time for Christmas.

Thanks for the link I ordered Highland fayre for £11.69 delivered, a gift if my hampers don't arrive or for treats for us if they do!

Got a reply from UK mail saying out for delivery from them today!! Fingers crossed they will come. If I am pleased with the hampers then I don't mind so much about the wait. Although as others have said I'm a little unsure as to why other peoples tweets have been responded to but not mine. I was polite and I had stuck up for them before! So hopefully what is meant to be in them will be and then can forget all the waiting!!

How did you contact UK MAIL? I'm scared to ask if I'm honest!
