It doesn't link to you to any offers as it hasn't started yet, we are presuming it will start at midnight but no-one knows for sure!

When I went into Solihull town centre store for a recce at lunchtime, they were putting out Sylvanian family stuff, Barbie sets and there were some Ben 10 items. I have no idea how much the discount on these was going to be. I can't decide whether to bother getting up early or not!?

Evening everyone,
Just been to have a nosey at my local store which luckily for me is only half a mile up the road! Anyway there were loads of toys being put out, they had changed the displays at the end of the aisles which were filled, the things I saw were Lego, barbie, sylvanian family, nerf, fisher price, Vtech ride on toys, happyland, octonauts, sainsburys own brand bits (thats what i can remember). They hadn't changed any of the SEL's yet so no idea what the discount prices will be but I'm going to be there for when the shop opens as hoping to pick up a few bits. On the sainsburys FB page it said all toys reduced by either 25%, 1/3 or 50%.

Have just popped in to see whats about. They ahve some vtech ride ons, polly pocket house and barbie mermaid thing by the excalater. Some playmobil on the ends, a hello kitty ferris wheel thing. There was no more extra lego out. There were Sylvanian windwills and farm house things. they also had some small Syl sets like ice cream cart etc with a £10 label on then a 1/2 price next to it so dont know if that was the sale price or full price! LOL

Think will hang out on here til midnight and see what turns up. This is the first year I Can't go at 7am so will rock up at 9.30 after the school run if online is cack!

evening all

bobbi-M just been and got me milk lol and seen very similar to the last few posters. they had put toys on the end isles, the normal toy isle was pretty much same as it always is theyhave not changed or added anything and the workers were just stocking up the shelves(hopefully more than they had when we were looking as lots stuff only had coupleof each item. the end isle had all the new stuff and a big bit in the middle where the pumpkins are saw the following

hello kitty soft toys, ferris wheel thing, block type kit
barbie basic dolls, mermaid set, glittery chamber machine
ben 10 alien chamber and 1 other set
whole end isle of nerf with guns darts etc
whole end with sains own play kitchen type stuff food baskets ironing boards toasters etc
giant boxes of priness mega bloks and play table for m/bloks
sylvanian little nursery windmill and a open fronted barn type thing
peppa pig dominos and a few small sets £15 ish electronic bitss
large vtech ride on bike rocker for babies and vtech stand and play tower.

thats all i can remember at the mo phew !!

that was about it,no special displays for lego or moshis or bratz or monsters high or anything like that unfort.

Lego section (i know you were after this) is in the same place as always and looked very well stocked as was playmobil next to it.

If i had to guess i would say the end isle new stuff will be the 50% stuff and the normal bits are going to be lower unfortunately. hope this help you honey good luck and maybe i will see you there in the morning maybe we all need to make mse badges for next year......note to self look out for cheap kids badge making kits pmsl.

oh and just remember they had some dodgy looking sains versions of my little pony and hot wheels tracks and some giant flimsy plastic looking dumper trucks and emergency vehicles.

Anyone else feel like they're going to explode? I've been excited about this for over a month, although the change from usual has ruined it a bit.

Yes I saw the dodgy pony crap! DD2 is well into MYP this year so was glad to see some normal stuff too!

Im just not as excited this year coz I know its not as good a deal! Jut got spoilt over the years I guess...
