    I think I've missed something - see what happens when I spend a couple of nights dealing with a puking child!

    I love cooking but I could never do a proper Xmas dinner. The closest I've got is when my ex used to get M&S vouchers for his Xmas bonus and I managed to coordinate heating everything up so it all arrived on the plate at the same time :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:


    My cooking on Christmas day is easy cos theres only 4 of us .
    1st year we were married though ( think George v was still on the throne:rotfl: ) I wanted to impress my love,so did Christmas food like my mum.
    Orderd a hamper of stuff you never eat (did anyone ever like that ye old oak ham ?) bought half the butchers shop and enough sprouts for a tribe,chocolates and fruit to make the sideboard groan,including those daft jelly oranges and lemon slices and boxed dates:eek:
    Soooooooooooo much waste:mad:

    Things are now in proportion with the exception of sprouts I LOVE em with garlic and bacon yum,yum!!! Some reason other family members dont have the same affection for them.:confused:
