  • Hi guys and gals. Hope everyone had a good Xmas. Looks like you did as you've all been having real life drinks instead of virtual ones over the last few days!

Complements of the season to you and yours.

I would go to the real pub if I could raise myself from the sofa after the amount of turkey I ate yesterday.

Anyway, Christmas is just a bit of a dress rehearsal for us Scots. The real do is next week......:T
  • Thought I heard a bottle being opened.

  • My Step Dad is from Perth and he gets into the Hogmanay (sp?) thing in a big way. I tend to find that ex-Army types also go a bit mad at New Year. Our old next door neighbours used to have the whole street on the doorstep singing Auld Land Syne at midnight :D

  • That sounds like Whisky - am I right? Not for me, I'm afraid. Had a VERY unfortunate vomiting incident in my late teens and the smell of Whisky makes me gip.

Will have a beer if there is one on offer though :)
