EXPIRED Sainsburys wine 25% off from 19th oct.

I ordered half a dozen bottles for a Christmas drinks party (wouldn't use it for family as, to be frank, it's not very good champagne!) that was due to be delivered yesterday. The delivery man didn't turn up and I received no contact of any sort. Got on the phone this morning to be told it was totally out of stock, they didn't know when/if anymore would be coming in and my £10 voucher has been credited back to my account.

I'm not particularly annoyed at the champagne not arriving as I'll just get a good prosecco instead....but I am annoyed at having waiting in for a delivery and Sainsbury's not having the courtesy to inform me that it wouldn't be coming! Certainly won't be using them for any shopping delivery with that level of customer service....will be sticking with Waitrose.

All was perfect until they replaced the bottle with a Sainsburys own brand alternative and the total amount (even with the 25% discount taken off for 6 or more bottles) would have been £60.40. So more money for 6 bottles of something I didn't order - not happy. Just refused the delivery and the driver said the amount should be credited back to my card after a few days...will wait and see!

When my delivery arrived, Sainsbury's had substituted 6 bottles of Champagne which were 3 times the price!

I did the ordering according to Martn on 24th, but had to 'phone in make the order correct. However what, I had delivered, last night was substitute Champers for £191.94 i.e. £32 / bottle, so yes turned it away.
Other than Martin did anyone else get it @ £7.75?

I bought 6 bottles of £24 champagne for £46.95, so £7.83 a bottle delivered! Yippee!

How many people actually got their cheap champagne? I had mine ordered and a delivery time booked[£2.95] but they failed to deliver - and didn't phone to let me know! When I phoned them they said that each store was supposed to have 50 cases delivered but only received 2. They were not very helpful and wouldn't let me transfer the 25% discount to anything else but they have said i can still use my £10 voucher. Not sure I want to..!
