You can get Bozita in the supermarket, though it's in disguise! Top Life do a chicken in jelly Tetrapak which is exactly the same as Bozita, made by the same people with the same ingredients, just a different name on the pack! It's worth buying from there before getting an online order as obviously you can buy just one to see if your cats like it:

Great minds, see post 4! I don't think it is the same, tho very similar.

Ooops! Sorry, I didn't realise I was repeating you :o I thought it was the same, but if not it's similar enough to try to see if a cat likes it before buying loads on line :money:

Repeat away, it's good to know how many people/ cats think a product is decent. :)

Im going to try that toplife chicken one thanks :)

I do buy classic, my female cat is such a fusspot with canned food though, plus the fact the kitten zooms in and starts stuffing his face whilst pushing her out the way disgruntles her. He'll eat owt though....

She likes felix sachets or gourmet pearl the most - I must admit I feel bad for her because the other 2 will eat biscuits while she only does in dire circumstances, so I do buy her nicer tins and feed it to her seperately so gannet can't chomp his way through it all.

My darling cat will only eat 'Felix as good as it looks ocean feasts' we have tried lots of other stuff incl RAW but she is a stubborn thing and just won't eat it. 2 and a half days is the record before I had to give in and go back to the Felix. It's ok when it's on offer and I stock up but at £4.60 ish a box expensive when not on offer.

Do butchers classic do a fishy one? And can it buy individual tins! Might be worth another go on trying cheaper food.

She can't have any dry food after getting feline cystitis and vet recommended stopping all dry food.

Thanks buttonmoons. I will buy some this week and give it a go. I love my baby to death but the fussiness drives me mad.

She is a bit odd as she won't even eat fresh tuna or fresh fish! She will occasionally eat cooked roast chicken but not often.

My last cat a Persian would eat anything and everything. Incl chips! He even ripped apart a frozen chicken defrosting on the side.

She too does not like in gravy ones or meaty flavour ones.

Yeah sounds like my female cat - she is so fussy - isn't too keen on the cans either, but if Im skint then I'm buying a 6 pack of classic for less than £3 - as opposed to a 12 pack of felix sachets that will last my 3 cats 3 days at the very most - they don't overeat on the cans :rotfl: so a can a day does + biscuits

Not strictly own brand or cat food as such but one of my cats will only eat Felix AGAIL Ocean Feasts and only recently did I realise there were two different boxes. He looks at me in disgust if I buy the sardine one by accident. Anyway he mostly likes to lick the jelly off which really annoys me as it's a complete waste so what I do now is buy some really cheap ham - value slices and when he's crying and I know he's recently eaten I give him some ham. It's cheaper than opening and wasting a sachet of the good stuff and he chomps it all up.

I have found that mashing up the tinned food to get rid of the lumps stops the 'lickers'!

I can honestly say that I never look at what flavour I'm giving them - with 9 cats, they all eat what they are given (unless they are poorly) - I offer them a choice of Classic tinned or good quality bix.

Also - and I know there are ethical issues with IAMs - but the 1kg bags are currently one BOGOF in Tescos - so £5.39 for 2 x1Kg bags.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
