Best cheap/own brand cat food

None of my 5 liked the Classic, but another great value, but great quality food that no-one's yet mentioned is Bozita - all of my 5 love it, even our ginger boy, Robbie who is the fussiest cat ever when it comes to wet food

I did have some trouble with it giving my 2 Bengals diarrhoea at first, but we've got over that now, thankfully, but Bengals tend to have more sensitive tummies than other cats, so it shouldn't be a problem for most (though of course any new food has to be introduced gradually).
The other great thing is that they do lots of different flavours, so if puss doesn't like/gets bored of one, there's many others to choose from

Very happy cats! And they sell it in Waitrose for £2.85. Now I just have to try to stop them bringing live mice in at night...0

We did a top-up for our 9 with Asda Tiger this week (44p/tin) and they wolfed it down just as ravenously as they do Felix in jelly (46p/tin from Costco). They won't eat anything in gravy."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Our two are now on Bozita & seem to like it. They definitely seem to be thriving on it: loads of energy, bright eyes & supersoft thick coats.
Bozita do a reindeer-flavoured variety too: the kitties will be eating Rudolph for their Xmas lunch this year

Which supermarkets sell Bozita please? And how much does it cost?DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0

You have to purchase Bozita online, it's <£1 for a 380g tetrapack so equivalent to 25p a pouch, but the pate and in gravy are more solid than any pouch so you feed less. Zooplus was the cheapest last time I checked, but they aren't always so it's worth Googling.

Goes down well with most cats and is great value being high meat, but not own brand or supermarket so didn't mention it earlier.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Agreed, our 2 (2yo & 4mo) are on just less than a pack a day with Applaws dried in addition. The difference in the older cat's coat condition is amazing: she was on Felix/Whiskas at the CPL and her fur was sort of hard & wiry. Now it's very soft & smooth.
If you do go with Bozita, then remember TopCashBack offer a 5% cashback on Zooplus orders."Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510 -
Another one whose cat votes for the Lidl foil trays...but not the green lid.
No wonder there are so many of them left on the shelf, lol.
She likes their pouches in gravy, too. Not a jelly fan.import this0 -

Lol
Ours like the reindeer variety too, though I always feel a bit guilty giving them Rudolph to eat :rotfl: Though I don't know why I should as it's no different to beef or lamb, and having been a vegetarian for 25 years, I should feel the same whatever I feed my carnivorous friends :rotfl: 0 -
