    Hi all,
Received Allocation Questionnaire from St Helens County Court today, I have toget it back to them by the 18th of September. Any idea how long after this date, that I get a court date?

    Thanks in advance

  • hi all

i've just got my statements back and about to claim £ 3600 plus interest from the Abbey. I plan to stick to the schedule but have a couple of questions...

    1) if it goes to court, will i have to pay £120 to the courts?

    2) are any banks making any offers of settlement at the moment or are they waiting for the outcome of the OFT case?

    Hi hopeneeded,
Yes you will have to pay the £120 court fee, and as far as I know all the banks are now stating they are awaiting the outcome of the "test case" instead of making an offer, not reading of many successes on the forums now.
    Hope this has helped

Definitely resend it by recorded delivery, otherwise they can say they never receivec your original copy, and then your claim is likely to get thrown out for non compliance.

Thanks Mark, I didnt make any sense in my last post, i meant to say i sent the completed AQ via recorded delivery to my local court but i sent a copy of the AQ to the bank via recorded delivery but i sent the copy to my local bank branch rather then the registered address which i later reliased thats were i should have sent it too, is that going to have any bad effect?

    Many thanks for your help

  • Hi all. I got some statements today from Abbey as I requested but it's not the four years or so that I had asked for. I also noticed that none list on the front of the statement any of the charges I wish to reclaim. Could it be they will send more and indeed from the opening of my account? Also is it common that don't print the charges on the front of the statement? What should I do next?
    Thanks in advance.
