Some are coming with v8, some v9, you can see on the bottom of the box next to the bar code, will have v8 or v9. No celebrity voices i'm afraid.

I haven't really got a clue about sat navs. Ive read the threads and still don't know my tom tom from my elbow, so hope you can help.

I want a cheapo sat nav, doesn't have to sing and dance and just needs to get me to a few places regionally during the 6 weeks hols, so don't fancy splashing out a fortune.

    Any ideas, thanks
  • Any one know how or if you can activate the speed cams thing on the sat nav it hasnt got a manual & cant find one online anywhere dam it lol
    cheers

Nothing wrong with 310, i've got one! Why not go the whole hog and get the Nuvi 610 from here!!
This comes with the traffic add-on which sells for £50-60.

Am I right in thinking that the version 9 dvd we have for the i3 could be used for any other Garmin?

i need blue tooth , able to make phone calls, full post code large touch screen and european maps?

Got the Tomtom Go 510 at ToysRUs yesterday, reduced to £199 nationwide. Widescreen, full postcode search, maps of Western Europe and GB, Bluetooth phone control including full address book/message functionality (The thing actually reads your incoming SMSs !!) and IPod control.

Went in to buy the new One XL and got this baby for the same price.

Re. the bluetooth thing on the tomtoms, anyone know if you can connect more than one phone at once?

I'm now gonna have a work phone and a personal one, and would like to just use one bluetooth headset. My idea is to see if I could use a tomtom unit as kind of a bluetooth router to do this.

    Anyone tried it?
