Thanks boatman but he wants bluetooth and I dont think 250 has it does it?
What do you think of 310 if we upgraded it with the version 9 maps?0 -
I got one but it took me off the A1M way too early and dragged me off down all kinds of weird country lanes and silly routes  I did get there in the end though so maybe it just needs tweaking a bit...
Thanks - seems like a good idea to give it a miss as no-one here has anything good to say about it0 -
Nothing wrong with 310, i've got one! Why not go the whole hog and get the Nuvi 610 from here!!
This comes with the traffic add-on which sells for £50-60.
Sorry being really dim now. What is the traffic add-on? Also how come you have a 310 and a 610?
The 310 is £159.99 from Amazon and via the Garmin site link has preloaded Good Pub Guide.0 -
It will alert you of traffic delays ahead i.e. on you planned route and then your sat nav can re-route you around the traffic congestion. Some of the traffic add ons charge a subscription for this service, as far as I know Navman don't as I have considered buying one.0

As Jeff121 said. Couple of points, The garmin traffic receivers come with a lifetime subscription in the UK. Cost about £50-60 pounds. If your car has an 'Athermic' windscreen don't get a traffic receiver as it might not work, explaination here.
