I can also confirm this is nationwide, after phoning loads of stores for availability and confirmation of price.
Eastleigh, Totton, Southampton, Fareham, Gosport have all sold out. Plus I got the last one at Waterlooville.
This is my first sat nav, which i'll only use occasionally, but seeing as my OH has a 10% discount card it seemed a must buy at £44.10
I also saw the sel which showed the price before as £125.
I've been having problems at the weekend keeping a satellite signal, so picked one of THESE antenna's for only £9.99 at Maplin instore and it works a dream.
It does state web only, but they are available instore and you can phone to reserve and collect same day.
This is the best price i've seen, so you may want to consider this if you're having signal problems.0 -
:money: Just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 300 for £98 from Asda in Charlton - :money: :beer:0

Do you guys find that the speed that your tomtom/satnav shows is the same as your speedo in your car?
I have always thought my car speed is wrong, but for my first ever outing tonight with satnav, my car said 60 and the tomtom was 50
Sounds a bit dodgy, At least you won't get done by the speed cameras if you keep to your speedo! Most speedo are pretty accurate up to 50 then after that overread by about 5%, i think by law they are not allowed to underread.
Lots of new icons like santas sleigh, cars, trucks and a tank for your garmin here0 -

Cars overread a fair bit throughout the speed range.
I wouldn't like to challenge a speeding conviction based on a sat nav reading though;-)0 -

I've found one at £202 but it's a Nuvi 300T - can someone confirm if the £98 ones are Nuvi 300 or Nuvi 300T. Thank you,
Gerald0
