I think you'll find that althought the Navman 750 is a nice unit(was top of the range) the maps will not be as upto date as some of the newer units and Navman charge the best part of £100 to update them. Its a shame Navman charge so much. Neater units with upto date maps are the Garmin NUVI 250(not the Nuvi 200 as that only has UK mapping) for £170 from halfords online or the Mio C510E from Handtec for £150.0

Can anyone tell me if you can use tomtom one v2 uk with your mobile phone for handsfree calls in the car?
As I read somewhere on here that although its bluetooth you cant use it for mobile callsThanx

Only the higher end models do this, unfortunately. The One can be used with the phone for plus services such as traffic, weather, speed camera updates and tomtom buddies, but not for handsfree.0

The reason I asked is because on pixmania site they are advertising it as though it does take mobile calls and its decieving. This is what they state on the site for tomtom one v2 uk
'You can also connect your mobile phone to the unit via the Bluetooth connection, which is ideal for hands-free calls!
The TomTom ONE New Edition is immediately operational and combines performance and ease of use!'Thanx

Hmmm, that's interesting, but I am sure pixmania have got it wrong, because whatever phone you select at http://www.tomtom.com/phones/?intProduct=12, you will not see hands free calling on a Tomtom One.
Nothing about it here either.0 -

I have one of these from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Qstarz-Q818-V1...QQcmdZViewItem
Reception and battery life is unbelievable!..you can leave it switched on on top of the sun visor for up to a week on a single charge as it goes into stand-by as soon as it looses the BT signal from the phone or PDA and then it powers back up again when you get back into the car..Co answers queeries fairly quickly if you have any!
