No new deliveries this week... yet!
The kitchen wall tiles are scheduled to be delivered on Friday.
Did I tell you about my new coffee table? Oak & concrete, £700 reduced to £400, it's a really lovely piece of furniture. I bought it online at Easter and was advised that delivery would be 2-3 weeks and that they would send me an e-mail when it was ready for dispatch... imagine my surprise when I arrived home 4 days later to find a damaged box on the doorstep and my disappointment when I unpacked it and the concrete top was damagedAnyway... the furniture company aren't very responsive in dealing with my complaint
Mr MWC gave me a 23&me DNA testing kit for my birthday (what a romantic chap he is :rotfl:). I finally registered the kit and spat in the tube this evening :drool:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I finally got a response to my third e-mail in three days (including a more senior employee on each occasion!)... lame excuse about the supplier being unable to contact me as they had the wrong phone number. They will contact me within 24 hours to arrange collection of the damaged table. Unfortunately, a replacement table is out of stock until June :mad:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

It's the weekend :j
The coffee table has gone :j I watched the courier drop the box from shoulder height on to the road so that he could open his van door... if he took that much care when it was delivered, no wonder it was damaged... :eek:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
