I recommend you & Mr MWC read Smarter Investing by Tim Hale before you make any final decisions.

Thanks GG. I searched the library catalogue and they don't have it so we have invested in a personal copy!

  • Going forward any MOPs will need to be from underspends or additional income (just like many other MFWs but a different approach for us!) so I've started onepolling again today - so tedious...

  • Is your fig planted in a Gladstone bag muddy? I assume that came about because the roots need to be contained? I bet all the Doctors were hopping mad that their bags kept on getting nicked by enthusiastic gardeners :D Figs grow very well in Blighty don't they?

What did you do with the figs anyway? Or are they still ripening for you? If so, what are you planning to do with them?

  • Sadly nothing as exciting as a Gladstone Bag - the roots are contained in a black plastic pot and it's in a sheltered position in a south-facing garden :)

I ate mine straightaway yesterday morning!

Crikey MC, that's good about the figs, they're not even ripe here yet!

Well done on Smarter Investing :T.
