The Bowie Prom was absolutely fabulous - an amazing experience :j
We mooched around Notting Hill yesterday morning, looked in a kitchen showroom that had no prices () and had avocado on toast for brunch before heading home. Then (after a much needed nap) we headed out again!

We had our initial meeting with the IFA this morning and I'm looking forward to reading his report
When you take in to account our pension fund values, cash savings, investments and equity in the house, we're doing ok
He made a face when I told him that I'd cashed in the S&S ISA - oops- but I had looked at transfer costs and thought that they were too high...

I've had a chat with Mr MWC (he had to rush off this morning for a second interview *fingers crossed*) and he now agrees that we should stop OPing the mortgage at the current level and invest the money instead. Whether or not we OP enough to have paid off the mortgage by the end of the term or find the lump sum in April 2028 is yet to be decided... or we could switch to a repayment mortgage ... decisions, decisions :think:Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
