You can make your own decision, though, MWC - and whatever you decide, you're MFW equivalent

  • The Bowie Prom was absolutely fabulous - an amazing experience :j

We mooched around Notting Hill yesterday morning, looked in a kitchen showroom that had no prices () and had avocado on toast for brunch before heading home. Then (after a much needed nap) we headed out again!

No sign of any chicks :( but she is still sitting on the eggs :)

  • Morning, I've been MIA and only just caught up on your news. Brilliant to read and I'm sure IFA will say reinvest but in my mind, you're almost done :T:T:T:T

Looking forward to hearing all about Bowie.

    Best wishes Tilly xxxxx

  • We had our initial meeting with the IFA this morning and I'm looking forward to reading his report :)

When you take in to account our pension fund values, cash savings, investments and equity in the house, we're doing ok ;)

He made a face when I told him that I'd cashed in the S&S ISA - oops :o - but I had looked at transfer costs and thought that they were too high...

  • I've had a chat with Mr MWC (he had to rush off this morning for a second interview *fingers crossed*) and he now agrees that we should stop OPing the mortgage at the current level and invest the money instead. Whether or not we OP enough to have paid off the mortgage by the end of the term or find the lump sum in April 2028 is yet to be decided... or we could switch to a repayment mortgage ... decisions, decisions

Good luck to Mr MWC :T and well done on your overall good position :j.

    Any sign of chicks?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

He has a third interview tomorrow and he was told to phone the chap he met today on Friday morning - I think they like him!

No chicks :( She's still sitting tight but too many days have passed now. How were the grandchicks?
