It's that time of year! We had 9 duck eggs and 4 chicken eggs in 1 day recently :o
  • And unfortunately for me, it's coinciding with my customers being out of the office... :(

Only 4 hours of work tomorrow morning and then it's the weekend :j

  • A busy afternoon/evening - it feels like I left work forever ago!

    - Stopped at the garden centre on the way home from work to buy bark - used a £4 off coupon

    - Walked into town in the rain

    - An hour at the gym

    - Helped Mr MWC make dinner - FC's perfect (black & broad) bean burger with roasted butternut squash, portobello mushrooms, HM guacamole & salsa - bit of a faff to make but delicious

    - Grocery shopping - used a £10 off coupon :T

    Eggs IN 5
    Eggs OUT 14 (2 poached for Mr MWC's lunch + 2 boxes sold for £4.00; running total = £12.55)

There was snow in my part of the world earlier too MWC

Well done on the weight loss - that's fab :T

    Have a great weekend :)
  • Mr MWC had a more successful shopping trip than me (although I did get some size 12 linen trousers :j) and he used my JL coupon for free coffee & cake :)

Another new recipe for dinner (and another keeper :T): Nathan Outlaw's smoked haddock and curried lentils with lime yogurt from this month's Sainsbury's magazine

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Very well done on the weight loss. I am particularly impressed with you walking into town in the rain, being very much a fair weather walker myself.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
