  • In money-saving news, I have cancelled my chub club monthly pass (£21.45/month) :T and we didn't spend £1,800 on a new mattress :eek: (but only because I want firm, Mr MWC wants medium and the sales assistant was lying when he told us we could buy a dual firmness/split tension double mattress :()

    The split/firmness thing is real, I'm sure - though I don't know what brands, but I know rellies who've had them. Hope you can find some - and congratulations on cancelling Chub Club :)

    Tonight's recipe (spring greens & new potato stir-fry with feta & pesto) is a keeper :T

    Third day in a row where I've only eaten my daily points and not dipped into my weekly points :T
    I'm trying to be really good this week as I'm making no promises for next week :p

  • Today's recipe is a keeper as well :T although the method needs tweaking (grilling eggs is a silly idea!)

    Baby Step 6 - Pay off the Mortgage early
    Baby Step 7 - Live like no-one else :D

    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
