Cut it a bit fine this morning - 60 minutes before my pick-up I was undressed, unpacked and I still needed to clean out The Girls... just made it in time!
Plan for the next couple of days:
- work!
- source ribbons, labels, fabric for jar toppers and jute bags for hampers
- research the illuminations as I'll be back in Lyon that weekend
- make pom-poms for my Big Knit little hats
Eggs IN 5
Eggs OUT 0 (Mr MWC forgot to take some for his dad)Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)0 -
10 pom-poms made and attached to little hats

After partaking of a couple of glasses of 2015 Beaujolis Nouveau this evening  I made the mistake of ordering andouillette. Now I'll give anything a go but this actually still smelled of intestines - feeling a bit queasy!

On the subject of menu planning for March - you do know that I'm allergic to shellfish, don't you? And that I don't eat chicken. Or eggs unless they're free-range. But apart from that, I'm not fussy

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Yep, beasts, the pair of you.
When I think about joining in stuff like this, after I retire, I feel like King Lear, muttering to myself "I shall do such things, yes, I know not what they be, but they shall be such things".
Sorry! Is that A level peeking out again? I saw various performances of King Lear three times in two weeks, and it sort of seared itself into my brain :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I can safely say the thought of tripe is eeuuulkkk. However, my mum loves it - how can that be?
