Hollyboll I was always led to believe that was dangerous and would burn the skin. It would definitely detract from the toothache but would cause more pain.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

I'm not giving any medical advice ... Just that it worked for me for a couple of days in an emergency (I did say not a long term thingy
) … was actually recommended to me by a medic so I doubt in that short term it would do much harm, but I'm not and didn't pretend to offer any professional views … only trying to help MWC with the pain, honest guv!
MWC sorry if it didn't and hope you are OK.

I wasn't having a go, just saying I was surprised but hey I was always told not to dissolve paracetamol in coke and now know that it doesn't do any harm.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Thank you both for your concern about my well being

Oh no, sorry to hear the things are still miserable
Definitely think about getting yourself along to an emergency dentist - if you're on all that medication and it's only keeping things slightly in check then they might be able to look into things more rapidly/thoroughly? (Talking from my own recent experience here, lol).
Hope you're on the mend super soon. *sending healing hugs* xxa penny picker upper. I've eaten delicious leftovers today (thank you Mr MWC :kisses3:) - Italian-style courgette & parmesan soup and Sicilian pasta & cauliflower.
I mowed the lawn, tidied the garden and cleaned the chicken coop - it was nice to be out in the fresh air
The freezer is full - I don't think we'll starve!

It's manageable today (unlike yesterday afternoon/evening) but if it's too much I'll get Mr MWC to take me tomorrow.
