MWC thanks … mind duly boggled and off to google some of those. :o

(Note to self - NOT buying any to try until own stocks of albeit Bog Standard variety are gone!!)
Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit

Apart from the pain, today has been a good day :)

    - £55 refunded to CC
    - £8 coupon used in WR and purchased wisely
    - bought bargainous brassicas - mixed pack of 20 priced at £5.99 however it was the last one and 3 plants were missing so I asked for a discount (very unlike me!) - I paid £1 for 17 healthy plants :j
    - brassicas (PSB, cabbage x 2 varieties, cauli & curly kale) planted out and broad bean and cavelo nero seeds sown
    - tasty food - last of the HG padron peppers, lamb kebabs with pea, apricot & mint orzo and garlic yogurt (not very seasonal but we hadn't had a chance to cook it before now), and the last 2 gooseberry & hazelnut slices (leftover from when Tilly and Mr T last visited) with fresh custard
    - 2 bags of apples gifted by neighbour

    Eggs IN 6
Eggs OUT 6 (gifted to neighbour)

    Plan for today:

    - Phone dentist at 08:00 for appointment today (3.5 hours!)
    - Send 1 important work e-mail
    - Cancel lunch with friend tomorrow as I'll be on the wrong side of the Atlantic
    - Buy prunes and start soaking dried fruit for Christmas puddings
    - Apples!
    - Sow winter salad seeds in pots
    - Potter around house & garden
    - Read water meter (easier said than done) and submit reading

Plan for once I'm pain-free and no longer fuzzy-headed:

    - Work, work and more work to catch-up
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)
  • Good luck with dentist - toothache seems to make everywhere hurt.

Thanks for the reminder about Christmas cake - will put that on my list for this week.

    Very best wishes Tilly x x x

MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library
