  • And that was with my lovely colleague helping out on my projects whilst I was off!

8,000 steps today - not too shoddy as I didn't wear my fitbit until 18:15 :D

VERY excited about the hatching eggs :j I've chosen beautiful pale blue egg-laying Cream Legbars in memory of Miss Florence, my favourite chicken

Yup, you never actually get any time off, you just shift your workload either side of your holiday :D

Miss Effie is broody AGAIN!!! I'm very tempted to put some hatching eggs under her but Mr MWC would go berserk... I could tell him that gallygirl told me to do it ;)

Oi, don't involve me in your shennanigans (unless you absolutely HAVE to :rotfl:).
OMG he wasn't very keen but he wasn't 100% against the idea... so I've bought some eggs :j:j:j

Yay, and without my name being taken in vain :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Miss Effie update:
    She's still broody :T
    Hatching egg update:
Seller contacted me to say that they had a backlog of orders and they wouldn't be posting my eggs until Tuesday

In MFW news, I've made another large OP this evening :j

Roll on pay day - 28 days to go :rotfl:

    Have a great weekend everyone!

  • A very successful weigh-in at chub club :j:j:j

4.5 lbs lost and 3 more milestones reached - I've now lost >2 stone, I've lost 15% of my starting body weight and I now weigh 11-something rather than 12 :T:T:T

9.5 lbs to goal weight :D

Lovely chicken-sitting neighbours are coming round this evening so my afternoon will be spent doing housework whilst Mr MWC cooks!

Fresh spring rolls, green papaya salad, clay pot pork using coconut treacle that we bought in the Mekong delta, cod cooked in banana leaves, sticky rice, stir-fried morning glory and tau hu nuoc duong (silken tofu dessert with ginger & clementine syrup)

I'm glad it's not weigh day tomorrow!
