I went to Bergen back in the 70s, sort of by accident - I had an interrail ticket, and Oslo was my first stop, but it was tiring sleeping in a tent after a summer spent in a factory to save up, so we took an easy option and had 12 hours on the train to Bergen. Gorgeous, gorgeous place (and great railway trip from Oslo).

I feel sorry for your chickens, but even sorrier for your plants! Hope they can all reach a compromise :)

  • Sleeping in a tent is not my idea of fun! Hotels with sauna/jacuzzi are :D

Mr MWC is spoiling me today - HM carrot & coriander soup with HM bread for lunch and now he's prepping a Vietnamese caramelised pork belly dish for dinner :T

There are still 13 days until pay day so I have cheered myself up by roughly totting up our savings (cash/ISAs/available-to-sell-if-we-wanted-to shares) and we are mortgage neutral

    Great news MWC :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Hi KC

We were hoping to go to Scandinavia for a holiday this year but circumstances dictate it's not possible (long story attached to this which I won't bore you with). Woah.... backpacks? Hold up one minute, nobody mentioned backpacks!

:rotfl: Just joking. I think it'd have to be every hour, I have no idea what a mile looks like!
