I hope not thistle - 22 hours to do 5,500 miles sounds bad, 22 hours to do 350 miles sounds horrific

We have 29 eggs  I really should try and sell some tomorrow!

A mixed day at work today:

Good - I'm going to the US for a week in April/May for a training course :T
Bad - apparently (or so I was told by someone who is not my boss) my boss is not having much luck with global HR in his attempt to get me regraded/promoted :wall: I think it might be time to dust off and update my CV...

  • Hi MWC, that's frustrating. Internal move maybe? Not that the grass is necessarily any greener.

  • Good evening Tilly

I'm not sure that an internal transfer is an option  I was hoping that I could hang on long enough for our parent company to relocate to the region (2016) but it's getting tougher every month!

I've decided that I'm going to study for a professional certification with a view to taking the exam in 18 months time  I've already got the primary reference book... my computer monitor is currently sitting on it :rotfl:

Yes - we over-catered and ate leftovers for several days afterwards as well!

Not too much of a hardship as it was a very tasty (locally made, English) haggis :D
