Well done on dinner for 16 and no dishwasher!! Wow!! Hope the rest of your sunday was restful.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

haggis lasagne? not sure about that one...

My Italian uncle might not approve but haggis lasagne is lush kirsty!

If anyone is interested, this is how we make it:

    1. Pre-cook lasagne sheets (enough for 3 layers)
    2. Spread some passata on the bottom of the lasagne dish
    3. Top with lasagne sheets
    4. A bit more passata
    5. Crumble on 1/2 haggis
    6. Top with 8 thick slices of tomato
    7. Another layer of pasta
    8. Repeat steps 4 to 7
    9. Top with a pint of cheese sauce
    10. Sprinkle with some grated cheddar
    11. Bake for 45 minutes at 180C

Love it! Are you watching on iPlayer MWC? It timed well for us this time around as just as we finished it, the next series of The Bridge came onto the BBC / iPlayer!

Hens by day, scandinavian drama by night, who said entertainment has to be expensive eh?

    Enjoy!

Ah, you're not going to be discussing plots are you?? I'll have to try to pick out and concentrate on the word 'Chickens' if you do :D as we've not got round to watching our taping of Borgen or The Bridge - we are so lousy at catch-up tv! We've only just watched episode 3 of 'Sherlock' - the chap out of the first 'Killing' was the baddie in that wasn't he? I liked him as PM in the Killing, but really didn't like him in 'Sherlock'. But that is good casting I suppose :D

    I love a happy ending :D

We rented the DVD from lovefilm habibiboo after the TV box thingy messed up the recordings. We never finished watching the first series of The Bridge. We will give it another go but Mr MWC wants to watch another series of Breaking Bad next.

No spoilers here although I will say that they can't have many actors in Denmark as that chap was in Borgen as well :rotfl:

  • Hi MWC,
I've been catching up too after a woe away - glad to see you've not lost any momentum!

Checked the current accounts this evening and there was some spare money so I have just MOP'd another £1,000 :T

I've also increased my 2014 target from £15,000 to £35,000 - Mr MWC and I have decided to really go for it in 2014 *gulp*

My trusty spreadsheet tells me that if we OP £1,890/month for the rest of the year we will meet our target and end the year with a total mortgage debt of £99,999

£1,890/month is going to be tough though - my 2014/2015 ISA allowance won't be getting used this year!
