Just had a quick catch-up, happy birthday for yesterday - very excited for you with that present, sure you'll have a fabulous time!
I'm with you on the freezer challenge - it's like Tetris trying to fit stuff in sometimes! We're still trying to eat through the contents of ours before putting anything else in it as it's definitely had its better days and needs emptying before replacing or before it gives up and things spoil!
Well done with the walking and with going over your target on the weight loss, excellent work there!Stash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Eggs IN 4
Eggs OUT 6 (1 box sold for £1.50)
Mr MWC is away tonight so I've had the leftover butter bean & tomato stew with pasta for dinner and I'll head out for a walk shortly
Today I am grateful for:
1. A free introduction to mindfulness session at lunchtime
2. The sun shining on my face even if it made it difficult to concentrate on my breathing (I kept drifting away and imagining that I was lying on a beach :rotfl:)
3. The flowers my aunt sent me for my birthday - the hyacinths smell heavenlyMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Eggs OUT 14 (10 sold for £3.90, 4 to be poached for dinner)
I do like finishing work at 1-ish on a Friday
Since arriving home at 2-ish I have:
Been to the PO to post a RMS parcel
Picked up a prescription from the GP surgery
Paid in a birthday cheque
Done 2 loads of laundry (including the tartan tablecloths for tomorrow!)
Washed up yesterday's dishes
Tidied and dusted the living room
Made a £6,000 MOP (from the share money, Mr MWC wants to keep some back for stuff)
Right I've finished my cup of tea and I must get on!Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Ay up MWC - well, I've been and gorn an dunnit
I've read 111 pages of your diary and enjoyed it very much (must admit I paced meself and it's taken time......) and far from 'not learnt anything', in addition to having 3 new recipes to try, I laughed out loud at the 'banter -y' posts regarding the chuckins, between your good self, *Aunty Gallygirl*, *Aunty Nattypants* and *AuntyTilly*....... Now, all I need to know is, to whom do I send the dry-cleaning bill for the resultant damp patch and staining????? ....... :rotfl:
Thank you for such an entertaining diary - and very well done on your mortgage-busting endeavours. I'd like to stay around to hear more if you'll have me????

So what are the 3 new recipes? I love the meals you cook and I can't believe that some of my favourite recipes might be appearing in your diary
