No spoilers here although I will say that they can't have many actors in Denmark as that chap was in Borgen as well :rotfl:

I second that ... no spoilers here either Greying, don't worry! Keeping tight lipped about all things Scandinavian drama - ish, and as for Breaking Bad, MWC ... :lipsrseal

Meanwhile, back to real-life dramas ...

:T Fantastic MOP MWC (sorry, slight abbreviation overload there)! Great news and brilliant that Mr. MWC is with you on the new target, best of luck!

  • Hey MWC you go for it with the MOP's. £99,999 has a nice ring about it though don't you think??? Motivational???

Someone was suggesting making leftover haggis into sausage roll type things with puff pastry on the radio the other day - that sounded quite nice but sounds like you are done now!

  • I've also increased my 2014 target from £15,000 to £35,000 - Mr MWC and I have decided to really go for it in 2014 *gulp*

My trusty spreadsheet tells me that if we OP £1,890/month for the rest of the year we will meet our target and end the year with a total mortgage debt of £99,999

£1,890/month is going to be tough though - my 2014/2015 ISA allowance won't be getting used this year!

I am a numpty... I forgot about my standard payments!!!

We ONLY need to MOP £28,790 this year to meet our target :D

The £1,890/month was correct although taking into account a £3,000 bonus (fingers-crossed) and £5,000 in the current accounts (only earning 5% interest until March/April and then being transferred to the mortgage), we only need to OP £1,163/month.
