    Very well SS - I will make it again :D

    Not sure about the maple syrup meringues though... far too sweet and sticky... will have to tweak the recipe if I do make them again!

  • I am soooo tired and that is after a 3-hour nap when I got to the hotel at 4 :o

    I'm in lovely North Yorkshire (although not in Attic24 territory :() until tomorrow lunchtime. "British Rail" has improved - all 4 (yes, 4 :eek:) trains this morning left and arrived on time :T

    Mr MWC reports 6 eggs IN

    Food diary:

    2 x weetabix with 1% milk and stewed apple
    Banana
    1 granary roll, butter, a slice of ham and a piece of cheese, cucumber and tomato, handful of S&P crisps, strawberries/raspberries/blackberries/blueberries
    4 choc chip cookies :o
    Tempura veg
    Buddha Feast (Thai gaeng paenang pak: vegetable red curry; Philippines calabasa butternut sauce with green beans, onion and pineapple; Sichuan Ma La Gu - 3 mushrooms medley: shitake, button and cloud ear with a spiced chilli, peppercorn dressing served on beanspouts) and steamed rice
    1 x peppermint cream
    All washed down with 2 cups of tea, water and 1 large glass of wine

    I was on Attic24 blog earlier - just love looking at the photographs - so lovely and colourful.

    At least you won't have a chook early rise alarm tomorrow :)

    No alarm at all - I don't have to leave the hotel until 9:30 :T

    An easy day tomorrow - a lie-in, a 1 hour meeting and then I head home at lunchtime (only 3 trains tomorrow!)

    Defintely need to find someone to teach me. I think there is a wool shop in the next town - I wonder if they do lessons???
